I love helping others with their searches and, if I make a connection in the process, that's just icing on the cake!|
Feel free to call upon me to help with your headstone photographs!
I will be happy to either transfer most memorials, add additional information or make corrections. Please use the Edit tab and send a "suggested correction" as it is much easier to find the requested listing to make those corrections.
Also, feel free to use any photographs I've taken on your personal websites, Ancestry.com, etc.; however, please let me know if you've chosen to use my photo. I'd love to visit your ancestor's page.

I feel the same way...
In November I finally finished photographing and transcribing (as necessary) every existing gravestone in the Gilead Cemetery. I should have all of the photos cropped and uploaded in the next couple of months or so.
Two years ago on one of my first trips to Gilead, I spotted a opening in the woods on the West side of cemetery. After walking down the the hill I quickly found three gravestones in the leaves and underbrush. It turned out that a F.A.G. member had been looking for the gravestone of a relative but hadn't been able to find it after two visits. Apparently, the Gilead Cemetery was larger than it is today and extended down a hill side in what is today overgrowth. Anyway, as I returned to my car after my "last" day at Gilead in November, I decided to venture into the brush and grape vines to find out if there were any more hidden gravestones. That's when I found Helen Marie Applegate's stone and a couple more.

No, you don't have to transfer. I don't have any pictures or obit to add. I am glad you remembered me. I still work on the Richardson's occasionally.

Could you link your Delora Plowman in Campbell Cemetery, Estill to her parents? They are my great great grandparents.

FYI, I have added photos of the gravestone of Helen Marie Applegate (1926-1926) to her memorial.
