Bio Photo Because of the recent too much drama on findagrave , I will be following all of findagrave rules. Please check the FAQ for transfers, posting obits and obit photo's . Also copyright LAW applies to my headstone photo's and will be reported to FAG ADMIN and any harassment. You don't have to snitch them, just ask for permission. I will be removing any obits/ person pic I posted from my memorials off the other cemetery's I have been doing.and adding only those I have permission to use and have been edited and contain the source of the obit. I will add info given to me and any updates.

Findagrave is suppose to be a place where family can connect with the past, not being busy bodies and getting into other members business over rules
That is the Admin people who should be doing that. We are only volunteers, it's our time . When others start reporting petty things, it just takes away from what findagrave is all about and really hurts the feelings of those who volunteer their time.

If a memorial needs to be removed just ask me to remove it ,no questions asked, they will be removed soon as I'am notified

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I joined the Women's Army Corp Jun 1969 and retired in March 1984. The WAC was disbanded about 1979 and we all became the regular army. I spent two years at Ft McClellan as a Drill Sgt 1973-1975, had my basic 8 weeks training there in 1969, and 8 weeks of medic school Ft Sam Houston Tx I graduated from Texas A&M three months after being discharged from the Army Mar 1984,for a back injury I had in 1972. I was a Vet, small animal for 11 1/2 yrs and gave it up to move on to other things.

Findagrave is not a HOBBY. I Love genealogy/ History and being able to help others who are looking for their families. Findagrave is one good place to start looking. I have photographed entire local cemetery's here in Sioux Falls since 2005. Wood Lawn, Hills of Rest, St Michael's and some of Mount Pleasant. I know I have not gotten all the photo's yet. My main interest are the Veteran graves and honoring their service.

I'm in the process of restoring memorials I removed from Wood lawn cemetery and have to go back out and find the HS pics that I had, but don't have now. Still enjoy going out there.

Merry Christmas
Thank for the advice as there are a couple (Don Zas etc) that you can't add or edit but will use your idea of adding an edit. Used to be so frustrating when you knew the member had passed away.

Snowed here yesterday but has melted already except for at my sister's house as she live at the very top of the hill so it will take a couple more days......Take care and Merry Christmas to you

Your bio
You took pics of my parents gravestones and I have no problem with that. When I asked you to connect them to their parents, you took care of it for me. I found my great grandparents because of a person like you that took a pic. Don't stop what you do because of some bad attitude people. You've probably helped more

RE: info
Thank you for the information. I do use edits most all the time, however, like you mentioned some won't do any corrections. It's sad when they take on the memorial only to let it grow virtual weeds.

Thanks again,

Thank you so much for your volunteer hours for findagrave and especially for the pic for this memorial. I appreciate all your time and efforts. This not only helps my research but will help many generations to connect with their ancestors. Paula
