|I encourage anyone with an interest in the Yerian/Yerion/Yarian/Yearian/Yaryan etc family, all descendants of Matthias Irion (1702-1763), to contact me and exchange information.|
Similarly the descendants of Moses Winters (1728-1822).
Also descendants of Thaddeus Ives (1781-1839).
Any transfer request should have a good reason, but so should any transfer denial. The best guidelines are kindness and cooperation.

Sure, go ahead and merge the memorials.
|DeLoss McKnight III||RE: Elizabeth Fisher|
Carl, it was sort of a collection of things. Her age and birth location were consistent. Also, her daughter Emma Fisher Freeman is buried in this cemetery. Emma is living in Kansas City in 1900 with several Hill relatives. I don't know the sources for your birth and death information. That would be most helpful to evaluate.
|JoAnn Ridge||RE: John Jr and Jacob Winters|
Thank you so much for your response. I don't understand Moses Winters 61735277 in Miami Co., Ohio when he was living with his children in Va. I suppose this is why I was leaning toward this direction. But thank you anyway. JoAnn
|JoAnn Ridge||RE: John Jr and Jacob Winters|
Thank you so much for your help. I see a Moses Winters b. 2 Nov 1728 Fishkill, Duchees Co., NY died 14 Aug 1822 Mimi Co., OH memorial #61735277
He married Elizabeth Williams Children: Moses 1748, Lydia 1749, Obediah 1750, John 1750, Mary Polly 1755, Phoebe 1758, William 1760, Chole Mary 1761, Obediah 1762, and Lewis.
John Winters b. 1750 Duchess Co., NY died 1831 Montgomery Co., VA memorial #61875621. He married Margaret Spragg or Savage b. 1758. Children: Elizabeth, Thomas 1786, Jane 1788, Spragg 1790, Drusilla 1798, Keturah 1800, Henrietta 1804.
Now for your question: My facts: Jacob Winters born December 7 1784 from family bible. Born in NY from all Census records. Married Adorcus ______ Born 1780 from family bible. Born in PA from 1880 census of son John Winters (My ancestor). Confirmed by John Winters (my ancestor's) death record died 1888 in Barry Co., Michigan. My ancestor John Winters was born 1816 Portage Co., Ohio and married Margaret Vaneman 1838 Stark Co., Oh.
I see record of Jacob winters born December 7, 1784 was Christened March 27, 1785 in Armenia Duchess Co., NY. Father is John Winters (Same birth date as my Jacob Winters from the family bible.
Connection to John Winters, The 1860 Census my ancestor John winters and Margaret his wife and family are in Ashland Co., OH living with them is an older man John Winters age 78 born NY. Since I knew the facts of my John Winters it stood to reason this John Winters b. 1782 must be an Uncle and older brother to his father Jacob Winters b. 1784. This John Winters died December 1860 and is buried in Vermillion Cemetery in Ashland Co., Ohio. Which tells me that my John Winters must have buried him before the family moved to Michigan. I do not see any family or marriage for this John Winters. However the grave was marked war 1812 showing me he was a vet. I searched records and find a few John Winters from NY. Pension was granted in 1871 so this John Winters did not qualify. (There is a John Winters from Montgomery Co., NY but it is not the same man.)
When I view the families of Winters of Duchess Co., Ny and saw Moses Winters having a son John Winters born 1750 and considered it might be Jacob's father. I was surprised for the difference in spelling of the Winters name in Virginia
Sooooo. This is where I am at. Thank you for your help. I've been searching for over 40 years. At last I do have a father for Jacob Winters as John Winters from the Christening record.
|JoAnn Ridge||RE: John Sr, Winters and Margaret Spragg|
Thank you so much for your help. I have been looking over 40 years for the parents of my Jacob and his brother John Winters.
|JoAnn Ridge||John Sr, Winters and Margaret Spragg|
I believe I can add two more children
John Jr. Winters born in New York and is buried in Hayesville Cemetery in Vermillion Township, Ashland co., Ohio. He died 29 Dec 1860 age 78 years making the year of his birth 1782. This John Jr. Winters fought in war of 1812 from New York. As far as I can determine this John Jr. Winters did not marry. I see on Census he lived with his nephew John Winters (son of Jacob) until his death in Ashland Co., Ohio.
Jacob Winters born 7 Dec 1784 and Christened 27 Mar 1785 in Armenia, Duchess Co., New York. His father is John Sr. Winters. This Jacob is the brother of John Jr. Winters buried in Ashland Co., Ohio. He married Adorcus ______ born 1780 in PA. I descend from this family and have the Winters family bible for Jacob and Adorcus. I have much data on this family. I am sending it to the email you have listed on your findagrave page at gmail. I hope that is still one you use.
|Sheryl Ackerman||Yerian family|
I am interested in the Yerian family since I am a descendant of Squire and Margaret (Feather) Gard. I will send an email to the one you have listed.

Thank you for keeping the memorials! It was pure good chance we literally just decided to make a road trip out that way right before you requested. :)

|Duke Fuller||Lester Burkett duplicate|
Your email provided the same memorial number, but I did find the duplicate number: 105000868
Mine was created earlier so I will contact Pam and have her memorial number deleted due to duplication.
Thanks for the heads-up.
