Good idea, but not necessary, to include my name with the pics to stop any chatter of miss-use. Have a wonderful time tracing your ancestors.

|John Bracchi||RE: Clara Twichell|
The photo of for Clara Twitchell's marker at Porterville Cemetery at Find A Grave was blurry and unreadable. The caption said she lived 26 Yrs... and the cemetery record said 24 Ys... and I couldn't read the marker because it was such a lousy photo. I requested another photo from someone else hoping for a readable marker. I also sent a note to the page maintainer Sharon Koleber, asking if she could confirm the 26 Yrs on the marker. A bit later I got a response from her with a very nice readable photo of Clara's marker, so I cancelled the new photo request which you must have claimed. I suggested to Sharon that she use the clearer photo for Clara's page but I just went there and she has not done it yet. I have found all that I was seeking--Clara's age at her death. Just now I took some initiative and added Sharon's clear photo. It now says that it my photo but I added in the caption that Sharon took it. There seems to be a misspelling of Clara's last name on the marker. I searched the CA voter registrations for 1878 etc. and saw the her husband John spelled his last name with a t in the middle, Sharon has noted the "correct" spelling and linked Clara to her husband John, buried next to her with no marker. I hope this makes it easier for all who follow.

How can you be sure it's Alvin's grave since there is no stone, only flowers? Perhaps you had the plot and location information?

Is there a stone there? It looks like only flowers. Nothing with an inscription?
Thank you for the picture!

Please remove this photo request from your list of things to do. The original photo person sent a hi-res photo to me. Don't know why it wasn't posted at Find A Grave.
Thank you ever so much for the tombstone photo's for Ruby, Elige and Inez Moore. They are greatly appreciated.
