I love researching my family history and was so happy when I found this website! For several years my research has taken me to multiple states where I have taken hundreds of photos of my family headstones. I feel great about being able to share them with others. Some of the family names I am researching are...Hogan, St. John, Keeth, Bearden, Andrews, Beck, Teague, Wade, Winningham, Van Hooser, Poor and many more.|
I also love to go to local cemeteries and take random photo's to help get a memorial set up for those who may be trying to find a loved one. If you have someone you are looking for in the North Texas area, please let me know where they are buried and their names and I will do my best to get a photo taken for you.
I will be more than happy to transfer management of a memorial to you as long as they are not closely related to me.

|B.J. Waters||Pauline McClure|
Hello! Got your message. Unfortunately, I cannot remove those links because I did not make them. When I click on the button for links, it shows up blank, which means the links came from the other end.
Well, I'm glad this worked out, because I'm finding it very strange that the cemetery seems to have no record for this Pauline.
If you haven't already done so, I'll remove the photo request.
I'll let you know when the Ledbetter/Peppard photos have been added, and if you need anything else, just let me know.
|B.J. Waters||RE: Mona Ledbetter Driver|
You're welcome. I hadn't noticed the Ledbetter/Peppard connection until I got home. Lizzy is buried to the left of Mona, and there is a Peppard on the other side (forgot the first name). So next time I'm there, I will get photos of those headstones.
Yes, strange thing about Pauline McClure. And if her body had been disinterred and taken elsewhere, the Inglewood record would have shown that. I wish the old database had not gone down, because at least I would have had something in writing to show the employees there. Apparently, that database was run by an outside agency by the name of eCriteria. They abruptly took that database down. Not even the webmaster of Inglewood's website knew about it until I told her. She investigated and was surprised at what happened. Anyway, I hope you can come up with something on your end that will solve this mystery. Let me know what you find out.
PS - in the meantime, I am going to do a "report problem" on your photo request so that others will know we are working on it.

I don't believe it! The cemetery staff can't find a record for Pauline. I inherited this memorial from Chris Mills (along with about 25,000 others) to help him out because he had too much on his plate. Pauline's memorial was part of a mass upload that Chris did, using an old Inglewood database that is now defunct. There is even the name of the plot where she is purportedly buried (West View) although there is no lot number (it just says "E" which would be the exact grave number, we still need the lot number).
So I cannot figure out why they are saying she is not there. The California Death index has her maiden name as Abbott. I asked them to look under that name. Nothing. I asked them to try putting a space between the Mc and Clure. Nothing.
Do you have any idea if she is buried under a different name? Even a different first name?

You are most welcome

I would guess the stone is right, too, but I want to see if I can find some documentation before I request an edit. So far I haven't found anything to confirm one spelling or the other, but I'll keep looking. The death is too recent for the death certificate to be online, but I'm searching for a birth record.

You're welcome, Mary. It's one of the more beautiful and interesting stones I've seen ... I'm glad I thought to look at the back! That inscription is wonderful. By the way, I noticed that her middle name on the gravestone is Juliett, but the FindAGrave memorial page spells it Juniett. Is the grave correct? If so, I'll suggest an edit to fix the memorial.

I want to thank you so much for all the work you have done on the Wade and associated families' memorials. I know you haven't done them all, but you have done many. It is wonderful when the family members are linked together!
You are helping to create a true family history as well as honoring those who are gone. Arthur Lincoln Wade is my husbands grandfather and we knew very little about his family until I started seriously researching our families so the memorials are of great value to me.
