Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love researching my family history and was so happy when I found this website! For several years my research has taken me to multiple states where I have taken hundreds of photos of my family headstones. I feel great about being able to share them with others. Some of the family names I am researching are...Hogan, St. John, Keeth, Bearden, Andrews, Beck, Teague, Wade, Winningham, Van Hooser, Poor and many more.

I also love to go to local cemeteries and take random photo's to help get a memorial set up for those who may be trying to find a loved one. If you have someone you are looking for in the North Texas area, please let me know where they are buried and their names and I will do my best to get a photo taken for you.

I will be more than happy to transfer management of a memorial to you as long as they are not closely related to me.

RE: Darrell Winningham
Thank you - I've posted the headstone photo. I'm sure the spelling/dates are incorrect on the headstone and not on the DC, so everything's fine.

RE: Darwin Alexander
Ok this is becoming too cool. I see you also requested Bowen Oliver Card? I see his wife was an Alexander. How are you related to him? Bowen had a sister named Ethel May who was my husband's grandmother!

RE: Darwin Alexander
It is finished. I will get the other Alexanders that I did not photograph today at a later date.

RE: Dawrin & Lloyd Alexander
I took pics of the graves of Maria and Horace Alexander as well. I kind of get the feeling if others pop up, people tend to request them as well.

Regarding Larry's post below
Ditto,
He will not transfer my wife's brother's memorial even though I asked per guidelines. It appears some people cannot wait for the next obits so they can immediately gain another number in their total, before a grieving loved one even has a chance to erect a more personal memorial. Is this the intent for which Find A Grave was founded?

RE: Victor St. John
I am related only very distantly and through marriage. Victor is a descendant of the wife of my paternal grand uncle

Regarding Larry's post below
Hello Ms Moore,

If I may, I've had some previous dealings with Larry (the preceding commentor) regarding transfers. Larry is of the school of thought that rigid adherence to Find A Grave policy trumps all other considerations. He will under no circumstances transfer memorials outside of the mandated four generations. And utterly forget getting a transfer of merely a friend! So I suppose I shouldn't be shocked that he attempts to persuade others to maintain similar rigidity where policies are concerned. I gladly transfer memorials to folks who claim a relationship with the deceased and once transferred I don't go back and make an assessment of whether the memorial is in good hands. Magpies like Larry are all about the numbers and helping family members make connections with their past is of little or no concern to them.

Feel free to delete this post. I've no intent to cause any angst for you. Just saw an opportunity to express my contempt for the likes of Larry and his ilk.

Regards
