Elizabeth Reynolds at Baltimore Cemetery
The memorial shows a monument for the Arbaugh family without Elizabeth's name inscribed. I do know that the Elizabeth Reynolds I'm looking for died after 1856, at least 15 years after the death of her husband, Lewis. Do you think this might be her grave?

Thanks,

Kate

Hi Dave,

From your bio, I see that you are a well experienced researcher. I have been doing research for mostly my families in Scott Co for about 25 years.

I searched for years without being able to find one of my Abraham Lane descendants - Dora Smith who m. Edward Johnson on 4 Sep 1919. I finally took another look after reading her sister's obituary (Eliza "Sis" (Smith) Collins who d. at age 102 on 1/18/2015.)

I found them in the 1930-40 census records in Lee Co, VA. The 1940 census abstract is below. I thought I had found Bernice (Johnson) Taylor and Charles Taylor in your findagrave memorials #68806320 and #68806162. The ages match and the circumstances match.

But I was surprised to show Bernice with a surname Cowan. From the 1940 census, she had a son Bobby Ray Dingus so she had an earlier marriage to a Dingus.

So I am to my question - is it possible that there were two Charles and Bernice Taylors in Lee Co with the same ages? Or maybe Bernice also had a marriage to a Cowan before she married Charles Taylor?

I really appreciate your time in helping me resolve this family questions. You may email me at dwlane@chartertn.net.

May I use pictures you have taken on my Family Tree Maker. If so, and you are willing to let others, you might mention in your bio that pictures may be used with credit. Thank you.
