"We Are The Story Tellers ……We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us: Tell our story."|

re Campbell Cemetery
There is no longer a cemetery to speak of there. My understanding is that people were moved elsewhere. As of now there are a few foot stones and perhaps some fragments of headstones.
Of the 5 memorials for this cemetery William Campbell is the only one that most likely have ever been there.
The two Finches are in a different Campbell cemetery in another county.
Batchelor and Stenson (related by marriage to one of my distant cousins) are buried in Hope Cemetery in Corning NY. They are originally from Campbell NY where there is also a Hope Cemetery. I think the person who made those two memorials got mixed up. They were both buried in the 1980s and 90s. There have not been burials in Campbell cemetery on Field Road that recently.
I have some information I got from the town records when I was there. I can scan it and send it to you. It will not be for a week or so since I am in Kansas and the information I need is home in New York.

Did you actually see the grave stone for Margaret? I do not want to be taking a trip if she is not buried there. Thanks.
Dorothy Mae "Dottie" Bish Fenstermaker
I haven't worked on this file yet - the info was from the first file manager, but I read it a little different than you:
"Dorothy married Clyde E Fenstermaker. In 2000, 2008 she was living in Ravenna, Portage County, Ohio."
To me the period after Fenstermaker ends that sentence.
The next sentence is saying that in the year 2000 & 2008 she was living in Ravenna.
I will separate the sentences though to make that easier to understand and add the marriage year when I have researched her.

|Marcia Lynne vonGunden||Transfer|
Hello again Grace,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring William Franklin "Frank" Parks to my care. I have successfully connected him with his family and hope that you will be happy with the results. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
|Jeff Harvey||RE: Infant Harman|

Thank you Grace for the transfer of James Adam Helms.
|Kay Singer||Mary Wortham George|
I see that you are the caretaker for Forney George and Mary Wortham George. I am with the Research Committee of the Burwell School Historic Site in Hillsborough, NC. We are trying to track down folks who are kin (even very distant) to people who studied at the School when it operated 1837-1857. Mary Wortham of Granville County was one of those students. I know that she married Forney George and they had a daughter Mary. Mary Wortham George died young and the daughter was raised by her father, Forney George and his 2nd wife Ann Elizabeth Lash. We would be interested in any information you have on the George family of Columbus County. We are hosting a Burwell Homecoming in June 2014 and want to invite all we can find. If you are kin to the Georges please send me your mailing address and I can send other info. My direct email is email@example.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

I've added the link to The Storytellers. It is just awesome! I would be honored if you would like to copy some of my bio guidelines.
