Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thank you to all the researchers who have told me that my work has helped them in some way. That is very important to me. I hope others who are able to take pictures and/or catalog cemeteries in the area where they live will do it. This is what this site is all about. Sharing with others who can't travel all over the country getting their family information.
I love getting corrections, transfers, and link requests, but PLEASE DO IT FROM THE MEMORIAL PAGE as it is so much easier. It gives me all the info I need.....along with your request, of course! I will not do requests from the public message page. I am much too busy to look up the memorial to make the changes for you. DO ALL REQUESTS FROM THE 'EDIT' LINK ON THE INDIVIDUAL MEMORIAL PAGE!
Also, I've had quite a number of requests from people who think I also do free research. No, I don't. I take headstone photos and try to make sure cemeteries are complete and online. I have other hobbies. I don't do paid research either.
Thank you.
Happy Hunting, Kathy

Another cemetery
Have you set a plan to do more of the cemeteries in Yadkin county? St. Paul's UNC near the Yadkin/Wilkes line has some older burials:

RE: the Walls in Salisbury
I kind of figured your data was correct but didn't know so was just going on the posting date. :-)

Was just wondering, since we both work the Salisbury cemeteries, have you noticed a new contributor who only list name and date (sometimes only month) of death, then with a brief bio of his military experience. You might want to keep an eye out. He was putting them in the old cemetery till I corrected him on some. He's from Texas and is getting them off the national Patriot Guard Riders web page. He does no other research, no even looking up funeral home info.
Robert, thought you might be interested. I'm no longer in that area so not doing much there.

Gratons !
thanks for the quick update for my great Aunts and cousins (Gratons) I was thrilled to find them , I have been working on the Quebec Canada cemetery St Anicet and it was wonderful to be able to connect them to the others. If you are not related and ever want to transfer them I'd be honored to care for them.

RE: John Travis Shoaf
I can do that, but 99% of the time they just move them to the correct cemetery. I have found through experience it is just easier to send it to edit.

Admin doesn't delete dupes anymore. They only merge them.

John Travis Shoaf

I hope you can help me with this. I know you have documented quite a few cemeteries in Davidson County and I trust your work. There are two memorials for John Travis Shoaf. One you created and photographed and the other was created by someone else in a church in Tyro. The photographer who added those pictures is RNA.

Here is your memorial:

Here is the other one:

The second one was created 5 years after yours. It looks to me to be the same stone. Can you confirm yours is the right cemetery. I'm wondering if I need to make a trip to both.

Thanks for your help.
