Bio Photo "We Are The Story Tellers ……We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us: Tell our story."

Hope added information helps
Mr. Deane moved to Sequim in 1979 from Sullivan's Island, S.C. Gather after 2nd wife died he moved to Sequim to be near Daughter
----
He had been a resident of New York from 1907 until 1953; He was an electrician for Consilidated Edison of New York. Makes me think he married Marie J. Brown in New York. Would also beleive that daughter Marie "Betty" Maasch was born in New York also
----
You'll need to check the earlier census
---
Don't know why he moved to South Carolina
Maybe he married Anita Corkie in New York and moved to South Carolina her home state

Thank you Grace - I changed the years on the memorial. As to the ridiculously small obituary, I'll have the admins remove it, as the contributor that added it is either inactive or uncooperative. If you'd like to write a small bio, I'm happy to add it. Thanks again! LG

I will change the cemetery location to St James Catholic Cemetery. When uploading all of my pictures to Oak Hill, I noticed that the person who entered graves in the St James side put them under Oak Hill, too. Under each photo I took, I put if it was located in St James. Hundreds were put under Oak Hill and I just didn't have the energy to "Suggest a Correction" for each grave. I will make it my next project to move all the ones I created into St James. I think the problem also, is that both cemeteries are combined online, with no distinction as to which cemetery they actually are in. I photographed both cemeteries, and it is hard to figure out where one ends and the other begins. There's just a row of white crosses, and I could tell based on the height of the grass.
