Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. We collect, glassware, vintage jewelry, Cowboy Collectables, and dust. We love Flea Markets, Country Auctions, and long highway yard sales.

I started Find a Grave as a Photo Volunteer and decided that was too hard. I started photographing the entire cemetery, this way I could add them to the Computer at the Research Center and put them on Find a Grave also.

I walk the Cemeteries and take the photographs of the memorials I put on Find a Grave. I do not set at the computer and put memorials on in another state that I have no intention of putting a photograph on with it. I do not do this for the numbers, I do it to help others.

I will have to add to the above and say this winter I have been going through our county Cemetery Books and Creating new Cemeteries and making memorials for the ones buried in Family Cemeteries. It has been interesting to find them on Census records and connect them. I will try and locate the cemeteries and make a picture if I can. Sometimes the older family Cemeteries do not exist anymore. I did not want to add memorials that I could not add a picture. I decided that these people did not deserve to be forgotten, thus said here's hoping I can find a picture to add to the memorials. Keeping our County as up to date as possible.

I believe family should be with family. I make mistakes, I am human, just be nice when you let me know. It is not my intention to make duplicates, but names, initials, nicknames are not all known, and I gave up mind reading a few years ago. I try to correct, link or transfer as fast as I can. I do not believe it takes two months to type a few numbers.

I have spent months deleting obituaries and pictures from my memorials. If you find one please let me know about it so I can delete the obit or picture. FAG does not want Obits or pictures due to the Copyright law. I do not want my account closed from breaking their rules. You can read that for yourself in the Q and A on your contributors page.

.

I believe in God, Family and Country. If this offends you, I am sorry. This is a short bio of me.

God Bless you and
God Bless the United States of America
Blessings
Anita

Alvin Bickett
Anita,

The headstone of my father-in-law Alvin Bickett has been put in place. He is in Calhoun cemetery on the left hand side toward the back. Was wondering if you could snap a pic for me next time you are by there?

Thanks,

Jane

Re: James Cooper # 125262998
Hello Anita,
The memorial indicated above is a duplicate memorial of one created several months earlier (#121454365) I have asked the manager of the duplicate memorial to delete theirs. Would you please move your headstone photo to #121454365.
Thank you very much,
Debbie R.

I found it on 9th between Maple and Popular -- 900 block of west 9th very near a railroad - I submitted the change and a GPS

Ellen Sarah Fentress Watkins Woodburn
Hi, Anita. Ellen Sarah Fentress Watkins Woodburn is my third great-aunt. I was wondering what is your source for her death date and burial place. I can't find the same information in the Muhlenberg County Kentucky Cemeteries compiled by Marian G. Hammers and published in 1976. Are there records for Bethel Church? Thank you, JP

Early Settler Cemetery
Do you have a street address (more than 9th street in Owensboro) or description of the location for the monument in http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2550387&GRid=134263349& The Early Settler's Cemetery?

Edits
Anita,

No need to apologize. I want the memorials to be as complete and accurate as possible. I make typos and sometimes the dates are incorrect in the cemetery book. Some of the dates come from the death certificates and differ from the dates on the stones.

I often submit names on a spreadsheet. It is quicker and easier. Afterwards, I print the names I have submitted and try to link each of them. It takes weeks to do it.

Keep the edits coming please.
