Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. We collect, glassware, vintage jewelry, Cowboy Collectables, and dust. We love Flea Markets, Country Auctions, and long highway yard sales.

I started Find a Grave as a Photo Volunteer and decided that was too hard. I started photographing the entire cemetery, this way I could add them to the Computer at the Research Center and put them on Find a Grave also.

I walk the Cemeteries and take the photographs of the memorials I put on Find a Grave. I do not set at the computer and put memorials on in another state that I have no intention of putting a photograph on with it. I do not do this for the numbers, I do it to help others.

I will have to add to the above and say this winter I have been going through our county Cemetery Books and Creating new Cemeteries and making memorials for the ones buried in Family Cemeteries. It has been interesting to find them on Census records and connect them. I will try and locate the cemeteries and make a picture if I can. Sometimes the older family Cemeteries do not exist anymore. I did not want to add memorials that I could not add a picture. I decided that these people did not deserve to be forgotten, thus said here's hoping I can find a picture to add to the memorials. Keeping our County as up to date as possible.

I believe family should be with family. I make mistakes, I am human, just be nice when you let me know. It is not my intention to make duplicates, but names, initials, nicknames are not all known, and I gave up mind reading a few years ago. I try to correct, link or transfer as fast as I can. I do not believe it takes two months to type a few numbers.

I have spent months deleting obituaries and pictures from my memorials. If you find one please let me know about it so I can delete the obit or picture. FAG does not want Obits or pictures due to the Copyright law. I do not want my account closed from breaking their rules. You can read that for yourself in the Q and A on your contributors page.

I believe in God, Family and Country. If this offends you, I am sorry. This is a short bio of me.

God Bless you and

Sally Searcy
Thank you for the memorial for Sally Searcy # 110640474. She was my gg Grandmother that I had never found where she is resting. I just found this memorial. Her Husband, Elijah is buried in Macoupin County, Illinois where he was robbed and murdered in 1859 while coming to this County to pay for land for his sons. Thank you for the work you do.

Joseph Carter
Hi Anita,

I am looking for an ancestor of mine. There is a Joseph Carter buried in New Cypress Cemetery, Rumsey, McLean County, Kentucky.

As can not make any sense of the stone. Do you know anything about it or Joseph.

Many thanks,

Scoti P

Yes. Same woman. Just entered twice. I can't seem to delete the second entry--that I suppose I added by mistake.

In my effort to link siblings to this person's memorial, I evidently resubmitted his spouse's name. Since I cannot seem to correct it on my end, you may have to do it for me. Sorry and thanks. ~~ Martha
