Fortenberry Link
Hello Sandra,
I have seen your information pop up a couple of times today as I have been tracing my Father's family tree. He is Jack Russell Fortenberry, his father was Isaac Harrison Fortenberry, his grandfather was Commodore Perry Fortenberry which I believe is the first spot I saw your information. I am curious how we might be related. My name is Debbi Fortenberry Donis. Any information you might have would be so interesting to me! I have recently retired and am starting to research family history information. Starting with my side since my husbands family immigrated much more recently than mine.... baby steps!! Thanks, Sandra!

RE: Frank Van Voltenburg
Good Morning Sandra,
My cousin, Ruby Juanita Wilson Kinnari who was married to Frank Van Voltenburg, her first husband, is at Memorial# 63626477. Ruby was born in 1910 up in Klickitat Co. WA & passed away in 2002 in Eureka, CA and she is buried at Blue Lake Cemetery next to her sister and brother-in-law LaVelle "Todd" Wilson Van De Vanter & Garth Van De Vanter. I need to do a little more research on Frank and might ask to transfer his memorial to update with current info. Will let you know.
Thanks,
Judith Jendrey

Frank Van Voltenburg
Sandra,
Judith Jendrey here Member # 48555157. I made a request for a photo of my cousin's husband Frank Van Voltenburg Memorial # 39461473 and accidently put that he was buried at Spring Creek in Goldendale, WA instead of I00F Mountain View Cemetery in Goldendale, WA. Do you live in the area there?? How do I change this request?
Thanks,
Judith

# 89904819- Lillian VV Hentchel
Hi! Sorry for the short note. Thought you might wonder who Lillian and John were. Lillian was a VV from the Catskills who was a nurse in WWII. She and John lived in SC where he was an insurance executive for Prudential Insurance, I think. They attended many of the early NAVVF meets. They kindly gave me a ride from the London, Ontario, Canada meeting to Peru, Indiana.

Lillian told some great nursing tales!-One about a little old man in hospital who striped off all his clothes and ran down the halls with Sister nurses in pursuit yelling, "Mr =, you must put on your slippers or you'll catch your death of cold!"

I sent basic email to the minder of her memorial site but it hasn't been added yet. . . .The rest of the story.
