Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy genealogy, local history, and preserving the memory of those who defended our South. I will help anyone that I am able. Find-a-grave has been a valuable tool in locating graves that were previously unfound. I have enjoyed working on memorials with everyone that I have had the priviledge of.

RE: Ann Coachman
Ahhh - OK. I should have known that. I have a photo copy of the original manuscript and completely forgot that John Joseph Simons listed children other than just the ones in the will. Ann must have died before her father. That's the only explanation I can think of. Thanks for the clarification!

Hi Hal

I see in May of 2014 you left a Confederate Flag on the memorial page for John, do you have any information I could add to him memorial page for his service in the Civil War?
There is nothing around his headstone that indicates he served and I think that is important and should be added

Thanks...hope all is well and that 2015 has been good to you so far...

Elon/Old Bethel Cemetery in Greeleyville, SC
ELON Cememtery-- I requested again through fndagrave that this cemetery be deleted. I place the pictures on the correct name..Old Bethel Cemetery. They should appear in a few days. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Sincerely, ML McSwain

RE: Elon Cemetery
This cemetery name was suppose to be deleted. Look up old bethel church cemetery. Only 3graves. James Withers Keels and his wife and daughter are buried there. Old site of a small church.

Hello Hal, I'll see what I can find on Capt. Daggett. We'll be visiting your camp in just a few months.

RE: Lydia Morgan White
Hey Hal, Lydia Morgan is my 4th Great Grandmother, she married William Timmons in 1800 & he died in 1804. She then married my 4th Great Grandfather, John White, Jr. I think that makes us some how related. Your welcome, Bernie
