 | Indian Baptisms I noticed that one of the comments for Maria Gracia (Feliz), a 20 year old female Indian from the village or "rancheria" of Tucunut near present day Monterrey California, is that her baptism date "doesen't make sense." Keep in mind, Indians in California Mission times were baptized a different ages, including adults who's baptism's could be 20, 30, or even 40 years after their estimated birth dates. Maybe that will bring some "sense" to your statement. Yes, infants were baptized, but in order to "save souls", the priests baptized any Indian they could get their hands on. | | | Fish

 | RE: Arthur Armstrong I will most generally transfer a memorial to a family member. Don't hesitate to ask.

 | Miguel Lima Thank you for inquiry on Lima. The information and photo posted on Lima was obtained from the American Monuments Commission. I believe the headstone you refer to is in memory of, which some MIA families have done...even though their remains have not been recovered. A check of record still shows he is MIA presumed KIA. Hope this information has been helpful.Added by Randy on Jun 10, 2011 8:39 AM | | | Elsie Jaso
