Cheryl lives in West Virginia and enjoys geneology. She has recorded many family members at Find A Grave, and has added records and photos from cemeteries that she has visited in her area. I have posted many memorials of people who are not related to me, so please don't send me any family history unless it is for the Ray, Ball, Collins, Vincent or Latta/Lattea families. ******I give my permission for anyone else to use my photographs.|

|s e folmar||Re: Abraham Hanes family|
I'm working in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, Belmont Co OH. I have a James Hanes 1802-1862 & wife Rebecca Hadsell Hanes 1802-1889 & several of the children. On this same plot is Ephraim Hanes 1855-1896 who is NOT one of their children. On further research I see that he married Estella Jones a granddaughter of James & Rebecca Hanes. Ephraim's DOB would seem to indicate he was s/o Nathan Hanes & a grandson of Abraham. I hesitate to connect him to this family on such slim evidence & wondered if you had more information on this family. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, Cheryl Sue. I appreciate all the great work you do, and I thank you. Best wishes.
Many thanks for the transfer. We'll take good care of her. We recently met her grandson; we don't know if he has any interest in FG but of course should he ask for transfer to him we would have to honor that request. Meanwhile, we'll hopefully be adding more info and photos. Anne/ hawk41

We are looking for the grave of my late grandfather's wife. Since he died in 1996 and she several years later it is possible she took on another name before she died. We do know that she is buried here but can find no grave on this site. She was Justine McCue while married to my grandfather, but she was married previously and perhaps afterwards. She was born in 1925.Thanks!

I just realized you had added flower-info and picture to the site for Clyde Lattea at the Straight Run Cemetery. Please apply the picture to the site 16855812, McClutcheon Cem. on Straight Run and let me know when I can delete my duplicate. Thanks, Hilda

Nice work on the Maj. Wm Haymond memorial.
NO, I'm not related to William but to his second wife Mary Pettyjohn Powers. I have all this information. Glad you added it here.
I tracked William's page back from a Polsley name married to Sarah Powers, a descendant of Mary & Major Powers. They were nearly all connected back in the pioneer days on the frontier and life was short and dangerous.
The pickins' were few, so sometimes cousins or sisters became wives. Can't imagine what that must have been like knowing all the secrets of your spouse.
Please don't surprise me with any transfers.
Thanks for the excellent work here.
