Members and historians of the First Presbyterian Church of Hamilton Square.|
* Access to 900+ known burials in churchyard.
* Access to membership roll books, beginning in 1900.
We have entered memorials for the known burials in the church cemetery not entered by others. We use old church records to enter other information.
September 2014: Our work and school schedules currently do not give us time to meet or add to our research. We try to check messages and emails twice a month. Thanks for your patience.
Note: The church cemetery is known on Find A Grave as "First Presbyterian Churchyard". It is sometimes confused with The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville's cemetery, which is known on Find A Grave as "Presbyterian Churchyard". Both are in Mercer County, New Jersey.
Note also: The Hamilton Square Baptist Church Cemetery is two blocks from this one. It was not unusual for members of the Presbyterian church to be buried in the Baptist church cemetery and vice-versa.

Thank you for the image of Charles and his daughter's gravestones. I believe Charles' wife Caroline Carson is buried there as we'll in an unmarked grave. She died in 1915.

Thank you for the email! No, I am not positive about his burial location. I got the name of the cemetery from his death certificate. Maybe I should look at the other cemeteries you mentioned!! With them so close, it could have been written down incorrectly. Have a wonderful week.
Great picture! Thank you very much for fulfilling my Photo Request! Also, thank you for updating the memorial and for your many other contributions on FindAGrave!
