Hodsdens buried in Mount Calvary
I have been doing research for an auxiliary family of Joshua and Nancy Hunter Hodsden, both buried in Mount Calvary/Mount Olive, Portsmouth, Virginia. The dates of births and deaths of the two above have me puzzled. Census records have them being born 13-20 years before the dates listed on U.S., Find a Grave. Are these dates on tombstones or just calculated by family info? Their son, John could not have been born in 1877 if his parents were born in the years listed on Find a Grave.
