Bio and Links
Bio Photo Simply enjoy genealogy and preserving history.

I make mistakes if you tell me, I will fix them.

If they are family, I will gladly transfer.

My aim is to honor the past. Items added to biographies are typically information I receive via email from unknown contributors and post to memorial. I do NOT fact check so take it for what it's worth...further research.

THE STORY TELLERS by unknown
We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family, there is one who seems
called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live
again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and
approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but,
instead, breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the
storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one.
We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before
cry out to us: Tell our story.

Rebecca Wood 36404837
Hi Carole,
I have been looking for my g-grandparents. I think you found my G-grandmother Rebecca Wood. The birth date is different but, I can work with that. However I have been trying to get in touch with the cemetery, historical soc. anyone to get a little more information, without any luck. Is there someone that you could put me in contact with? My g-grandfather is Thomas Jefferson Wood born 1831 in TN and died 1891 in Lindale TX. I was thinking that would be buried next to each other. I am at a loss.

Thank you

Would you consider transferring J.E. Campbell (34458089) (b. 10-19-13) to me. He was a son of my great uncle.
Thank You,

Mary Baker
Dear Carol -

Thank you so much for your suggestion. Mary Baker was my great-great grandmother on my mother's side. I have always wondered what her maiden name was and now I finally know! Can you tell me how to find more info on her family? I will go ahead and post your new information but I would like to see some documentation for my own edification. Thanks again.

Seaborn Aldo Weatherby
Carol-Thank you so very much for researching this. You came up with more information than I would have ever dreamed. Now I am baffled by the other name on the Census, but at least anyone looking at his Memorial can associate him with the correct Family connections. Thank you,Thank you, Thank You

Seaborn Aldo Weatherby FAG#35910128
Carol - I have been making inquiries to different sources about the above and hopefully am not repeating to you. I think this is my Gr Gr Great Grandfather and may go ahead and link memorials as such, but would like input on doing that. What is so confusing is that the actual headstone shows born in 1862. If you look at the Web page The USGenWebProject/Upshur County Tx Gen Web Project you will see the confusion when reading the bio. I think his headstone was engraved with his date of joining the Confederacy not his birthdate, if he is one and same as Seaborn Aldo Weatherby born 1835. Please take a look at the picture connected to the Memorial. I would appreciate your time (and I know it takes a lot) in looking at this.
