I am not related to them. Was photographing Lithuanian immigrants graves specifically in Norwood. Would like me to transfer?
|Lilian Wheeler HUHN||CORRECTION|
Sorry....In census year 1830: the age of Margaret Mary was 13 and her half- sister was 8 (just the other way round) Memorial # 129251840
Thank you for your attention in advance

|Lilian Wheeler HUHN||Suggestion to be added to memorial # 129251840|
In the year 1930, Margaret Mary, only child of Alfred Frederick Adams and Mary Callahan, formerly Toohey, was counted 8 years in a census for Brookline, Norkolk, Massachusetts, USA, living with her mother, aged 36, married to her third husband, Edward J. Doherty, head of household, aged 32, and her half-sister, Anna Louise Doherty, aged 13.
At some point Margaret got married with William Francis Kilroy.
Before getting divorced in the year 1940, she was counted, in the same year, in a census for Ward 10, Boston City, Suffolk, Massachusetts, aged 24, still living with her husband, aged 30 and four children: John(6), Elizabeth (5), William (3) and newly-born Ann.
She died aged about 38 years.

Burial records are incorrect. I am on a second edit and found the information on the death records is:
TOOHEY, FRANCIS aged 5 MONTHS 4 DAYS DIED FROM: MENINGITIS AT BOSTON CHILDRENS' HOSPITAL (PHILLIPS STREET # 60 BORN AT :BOSTON PARENTS: THOMAS F. TOOHEY (BOSTON) & MARGARET M CALAHAN (BOSTON)

you are very welcome. sorry it took a little longer to post than I anticipated.

Would you please tell me why Francis Joseph's surname is shown here as Towney and not as TOOHEY (his father's surname)?
Thank you in advance
|Deborah Nicholson||RE: Ethel and William Nicholson|
Greetings! And yes, that is my email addy---received your message with joy. I live in Ashfield, MA. My mother was Elaine Ruth Knightly, and I have two younger sisters: Robin Lynn Nicholson Siciliano of East Longmeadow, MA; Terry Lee Nicholson Jeffries of Russell, New York. Our family lost my brother---John William Nicholson, Jr. in a car accident in 1979, at the age of 19. My mother remarried when my father passed (Charles Albert Piller), and he adopted the four of us. However, I took my Nicholson name again after I was divorced---and kept it---it confuses the government for sure. As we were young when my father passed (his parents, William and Ethel both died within two years of losing him; Nanny died shortly after Grandpa), we really lost touch with that side of the family rather completely with my mother's remarriage. So very happy to "meet" you and thank you for maintaining the grave-site. It really is a small world.

Mr. Allen, these are my grandparents! Where did you get the photo? What a wonderful surprise...I am the daughter of their only son, John William Nicholson, who passed away at the age of 39 (1969). I am Deborah Louise Nicholson, born in Northampton, MA, May 20, 1956...the oldest of four children. That painting of a lighthouse on Cape Cod in the background? It now hangs proudly in my living-room...I took many naps as a child staring at it from their couch. Unbelievable to find that photo---I'm still looking for the one of "Grandpa" tending the antique coal-burning delft tile and brass stove in the same room...it ran in the local paper (Attleboro Sun Chronicle?) because it may have traveled from England on the Mayflower. Please except my thanks for posting that beautiful photo of my cherished grandparents...two of the most influential people in my life. I have been looking for family members---so if anyone is connected, please post here or contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Wonderful find, you made my year.
