Most of the memorials I manage are in Rest-Haven Memorial Park. The cemetery has about 17,000 graves with just under 13,300 of them on Find-A-Grave. Rest-Haven has a mausoleum in addition to the cemetery. This cemetery has no upright gravestones, only flat ground level marker. The cemetery does not require that a grave be marked, so many graves have no markers.
If you wish to find a family member's burial location in Rest-Haven Memorial Park, send your questions to Karen@rest-haven.com
I will be happy to make additions or corrections to the memorials I manage. If you have a correction, extra information or want a transfer please use the edit tab on that individual's memorial. Please don't leave a "Public Message" when asking for edits or transfers.
I enjoy genealogical research and spend time enhancing memorials as time permits. My primary task is adding new memorials to help families find their family and friends.

Hi--that why I left it for you to decide!! There are mistakes on DCs too. I figure the DCs are just another part of the puzzle. Thanks, Diana
I found this: "The city of Lowell's first post office was established in 1880 and was named Cannon, probably after Jake Cannon, a local resident. Later, when folks got tired of their mail being sent to Cannon Beach and Canyon City, the post office name was changed to Lowell. According to the State Mortuary Board, Lowell's current Hyland cemetery was once known as Howe cemetery. The first burials in the cemetery were reportedly in 1865." If Cannon was the original names, then I suspect that the obituary just refers to the old Cannon name and the cemetery they meant is Hyland. Or they really meant the Cannon family cemetery near Lowell. Just guesses, though. ~ Jan

Apparently is a community/area off of Highway 58. It is about 8-10 miles SE of Dexter. On the way to Oakridge, except you go over the Lowell Covered Bridge onto West Boundary Road and it is about 5 miles or so past that. I have never heard of the cemetery, though. Perhaps it was a family cemetery? Interesting. Good luck. ~ Jan
