Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've lived in Eugene, Oregon since I was a child (originally from Superior, Montana).
Currently retired/disabled and photographing gravestones for a hobby and exercise.

Any and all photos that I have posted are for whoever wants them. Please feel free to use them and/or post them however you want. No reference or credit needs to be given me.

Note to other photographers:
Many (if not most) people would love to see their ancestor's gravestones in full and in their setting. When shooting a stone, please take it from a distance enough to capture the stone accordingly. If it's one of those old, tall stones, take two shots; one as described and one close-up of the name and dates.
I have had to add shots to hundreds of memorials that already had shots because the existing one was just a close-up of the name and dates.

headstones
Hi Rod, I agree totally with your statement of headstone photos, I have gotten many that can't be read whether from light, angle or distance. I have umbrellas, brushes, and other things to help with the lighting and clean up to make just the right picture. It's a huge disappointment when that happens. Thank you for your contributions. Pat

Hello. Can you please transfer to me Joseph Harlan Collins page. He is my Grandfather and I was going to create a page for him, when I noticed you have one. Thanks SO much

Thanks for the photos
Thanks for the photos of the marker on my cousin's grave....Katherine Rachael "Kathy" Brown Goyne. The one I had taken was after her husband's death and before hers. Since I live in FL, I had no way of getting another without someone in the area taking it.

Thanks again.

Mary Sidwell
Thanks for the heads-up on the incorrect burial location for Mary Sidwell, memorial #20152928. Her memorial was transferred to me. I did not request the transfer and I have not done any research on her. It was just as I received it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been trying for years to find where Uncle Curl is buried. His daughter could not remember. I am sending his father and mother memorial numbers through the edit button. But I just wanted to tell personally, thank you so much for putting in Uncle Curl. Deeply grateful Penny Neeson
