RE: Mary LaRiviere
Thank you. I was looking for someone in this cemetery, and have found dozens of duplications. Once I found a couple of them, I decided to go through the list and inform the second memorial creator. One person has a couple dozen messages from me.

Thank you for all you do for find a grave, a great tool for genealogists.

RE: Cleaning gravestones
We clean with rain water from our farm barrel and a soft bristle brush (used to clean stainless steel) so they do not scratch. Depending on the stone type we use a stiffer brush & even a flat edge putty style knife, it all depends on the stability & type of stone. If the stones are fragile or the very old ones, then we just use water & soft paintbrush. Some stones just can not be cleaned, so getting the dead grass & top dirt off is all we can do.

We are doing all cemeteries in Lafayette County, WI and then maybe Green County. After we clean them then we picture every stone in the cemetery for adding to the memorial, replacing or to just keep as a file if the historical society might like them someday.

Hope that helps.

Whoops! I do not know how I missed that Jeanne was already linked. I was working on connecting the Jackson siblings to their parents. Jerome's sister Evelyn was my Aunt:)
