Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching some of the 36,000 + Army Air Forces personnel who died in the line of duty, of non-combat causes during the World War II era in service-related accidents. It is said that more
than 15,500 Army airmen were killed in airplane accidents between 1941 and 1946, within the borders of the U.S. and it's territories. They gave their all and died in the service of their country, but received no purple hearts and virtually no mention in the history books and have largely been forgotten by time.

I have taken photos of probably more than 10,000 names in the Manila American Cemetery in the Philippines, but I do not have time to upload them. Anyone willing to volunteer to upload some of them is appreciated. If you would like to know some statistics about the cemetery, click on my photo I display here.

For corrections, additions, or requests for transfer of memorial, please use the Edit tab, and select Suggest a Correction or Provide Additional Information to make any update requests. It is much easier to handle the issue this way, rather than a personal message.

I am happy to update any memorial, including family links. But I DO NOT like adding census information, copies of death certificates and please do not add long obituaries to the "photo" area. The information can be condensed and pasted into the bio area. If you don't have the time to type out the obituary, just email it to me. I will add it and give you credit for finding it.
I appreciate any information that can "round out" someone's bio.

RE: 1st Lt. James P. Kiernan
Tim, I added my photo to your memorial for James Kiernan, and sent an edit to Rita Osborne to remove her duplicate. She has used a spreadsheet to enter memorials at the 3 Catholic Cemeteries, and has made many many duplicates because she didn't check first to see if a memorial was already up.

Group Burial Stone at ANC
Hi,
Some time ago, you requested a photo of the stone for Capt Victoria Pinckney, Capt Mark Voss, and TSGT Herman Mackey at Arlington National. The group stone was just put in place, and I've posted photos of the stone on their memorials.

Thank you for your patience!

RE: Inglewood Park Cemetery
You're welcome! When I am out getting photos for requests, I am trying to photograph other vets in the general area, and family members, too. There are THOUSANDS of vets at Inglewood. We've only touched on a small portion. There are three of us working on this now and it sure makes it go faster. When I first started, there were only about 5,000 memorials on Find A Grave from Inglewood Park. Chris Mills did a lot by using his excel upload process and then he passed them to me for safekeeping.

I am a vet myself, so this particular project is special to me. I also have a crypt at Inglewood for myself, and a niche for my mom. So I'm right at home here.

Take care,
B.J.
