**A number of emails between this site and my Gmail account have not reached me, possibly as far back as early August, based on notifications for corrections I've submitted. If you have sent a SAC at ANY point and have not heard from me or seen changes on the requested memorial, please resend it.**|
I currently am in St Clair Shores, Michigan, although I try to make it home to Belton, South Carolina as often as possible.
When I'm not working on genealogy or in cemeteries, I homeschool my son, play in my (small) garden and harbor a nearly unhealthy love for old houses.
I welcome any corrections, additions or duplicate notifications and will try to get them corrected as soon as possible - please use the "Edit" tab to make all requests, as that helps to ensure I know exactly what memorial you are referencing.
It's important to remember that the purpose of Find A Grave is to find a grave. Click on the "Help with Find A Grave" link on the left hand side of the page to review naming conventions and what to do if you do not know a persons burial location. Memorials that follow the naming conventions allow a person to be found by their friends and family in addition to helping prevent duplicate memorials from being created.
Please realize that those who spend their own time to clean up errors found in memorials are doing so out of respect to those who have been memorialized.
Remember - it's not about you, it's about the people who have come before you.

I've met Mr. Zanger's brother, and I know that photo was shown on the news frequently her in Detroit.

That's too bad that someone would add it without being informed.

I know this a little odd but I do metal detecting as a hobby, it's always fun to return a lost item when possible. I recently found an old drivers license from 1949, it's vintage & made of copper. The reason I'm messaging you is because when I research this person I find his grave information & you uploaded the images to his profile.
Is there any way to find his relatives to possibly return this? Maybe grand kids?
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the transfer, Courtney.
No problem on the time thing. What with the lead up to Thanksgiving and the approaching holiday season we're all busy, busy!
I've still got a lot to learn about this wonderful site, but I'll be sure to let you know if I find anyone else you're managing.

Why did you post Clyde Wright on Find a Grave? It seems that I can not edit page. Is he related to you in some way? Clyde was my dad and I also live in St Clair Shores. I have not done a lot of records and it looks like you have to OK what I changed on the page. The photo of the marker is on the page but every thing else in pending. How is this fixed?

Courtney, Thanks so much! We should be able to find it and dig it up with this info.

Hi Courtney, Thank you for posting a picture of my great uncle Abrahm Klein's grave marker at Bet Olem cemetery on the GM plant grounds in Detroit. I have gone to the cemetery twice this year to search for the grave and can't find it. I'm thinking the grass might have grown over it. Did you happen to keep a map of the grave locations there or do you maybe have the picture file showing what graves were next or near to it? The cemetery is only open twice a year, so you help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
