Constable's Mother Dies in Cleveland
CLEVELAND--Mrs. Bell Beshell, 89, a resident here 55 years and mother of Fred Beshell of Cleveland, constable of Precinct 6, died Friday at her hom at 12:45 p.m.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Churdh, with the Rev. G.L. Hodges, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Oak Shade Cemetery, Pace-Stancil directed.
Mrs. Beshell was born in Fayette County Jan. 22, 1863 and came to Cleveland 55 years ago with her family. Her husband, H.G. Beshell, died in 1937.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. J.P. Richards of Evergreen, Mrs. Bertha Brashear of Cleveland, and Mrs. Flora R. Foxworth of Galveston; two sons, Fred Beshell of Cleveland and O.H. Beshell of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Cannon of Waco, Mrs. J.L. Hennesy of Houston, and Mrs. Bertha Simmons of Kingsville; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchldren.
