Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been retired for several years and revived an old interest in family history that led me to the Find A Grave site and to several living kinfolk I had not even known of before, plus numerous kind folk who have helped me research.
My family runs the gamut from branches that go back to the 1600s in New England to new arrivals (by marriage) from Germany, Ukraine, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Guatemala. The general area of my interest on Find A Grave runs from Texas up through Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, plus California. I have a special interest in Missouri since both branches of my family passed through there and many members still live there.
One real asset I enjoy (besides some first, second, and third cousins with a similar interest in genealogy) is that I inherited both my mother's and my mother-in-law's photo collections, which include images dating back more than 100 years.
Surnames I'm interested in include, besides Blair, also Herring, Percy, Hayes, Veale, Barnes, Patterson, Rogers, Piggott, Marvin, Reeves, Linville, Boone, Callaway, Grigg, McWilliams, Rowe, Dando, Hume, Hersh.
In addition I am researching my late wife's very different family, immigrants from Central Europe and Scandinavia in the late 19th century with names that include Franz, Nielsen, Wilensky/Williams, Gunderson and Rohner.

Welcome to my pad!
Hi John, It is so nice to bump into family again. I was just looking into my Morris-McWilliams branches when I came across your name here in Find A Grave. My mother was Lela May Cook. She married Harold S. Hamilton and had 4 kids. After my father passed away she married A. L. Simon who is 82 now. He just came to visit us here in Kingman, AZ & is now headed to WA state to his home. My mom's parents were D.W. Cook & Anna Mae Hollandsworth. My Hamilton and Cook trees are listed on ancestry.com and rootsweb.com and I can invite you to them if you like. Lela Mae McWilliams married Andrew William Cook. They had my GPA DW & she died in childbirth. He married Mary Alice Carter & had 10 more kids. Lela Mae was the DTR of David R. McWilliams & Lavinia P. Morris. I need pics & any info you got on McWilliams or Morris family. God bless you cousin!

Cloe Hersh Snyder
I believe she is the daughter of my great grandfather, George Ellinwood (7769961) and his wife Rebecca (7769963). In information that I found in Ohio wills, he lists her last name as Hersh. Thank you, Jim Garbers (jimgarbers@gmail.com)

RE: Re: Ludwig and Tessie Rohner
I don't remember seeing this message but may have already replied. If not, Ludwig Rohner died July 23, 1941 in Kings, New York.
