I am retired and enjoy working on genealogy as a hobby. I have a masters degree from the University of Oklahoma and I'm using my research skills to hunt down my ancestors.|
www.findagrave.com is a terrific web site.
My ancestors include but are not limited to:
Allison, Campbell, Morris, Johnson, Holdsworth, Baird, Kirkpatrick, Phillippi, Worley, Sweeney, Vaught, Watson, Dale, Wheeler, Hoyt, Newman
I make an effort to connect husbands, wives and families using obituaries and census records.
As many of you know, I have spent hours taking photos in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City in order to create memorials. I also do research in the Oklahoma Historical Society Library for some of my memorials.
Member: Oklahoma Historical Society, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Civil War Trust, Friends of Mt Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, National Women's History Museum, Pulaski Co KY Historical Society, Cornerstone Genealogical Society (PA), Morrow Co OH Genealogical Society, Osborne Co KS Historical Society.
Use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the appropriate memorial to submit information or any requests. I follow the Find-A-Grave guidelines regarding the transfer of memorials. Any transfer requests should only be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
My photos may be used in your family trees. They are not to be used in cemetery books/CDs
that are to be sold.

|C. L. Hines||RE: Stinnett|
Is Mary E. Stinnett Brooks a relative? She is just above H. G. in the Mausoleum.
|C. L. Hines||Stinnett|
I could find an H> G> Jr. in the
Mausoleum but no H. G.Sr.
If you send a request for Jr. I will post it.
|Loraine Ertelt||RE: Are we related?|
Mary Johnson (1749-1818) is my 4th great grandmother. She married John Colton Jr and my grandmother was a Colton descendent.
Mary John spouse John Colton Jr. (both b/d England)
William Bethel Colton Spouse Sarah Bingham
(both b/d England)
Jacob William Colton emigrated to Ontario Canada in 1843 with his brother Thomas Bethel Colton and his spouse and family. Jacob married Mary Ann Elizabeth Ward born Ontario Canada.
Hope this helps.

Why are you declining my edits, stating: "General reason: Not accurate - Their data conflicts with my data.", when in fact, you had no data?
Also, you have created a duplicate memorial for Robert James Edwards. Granted, yours in more complete, but you may want to read the Find A Grave guidelines for duplicate memorials. Please check before creating a memorial to see if one already exists.
|Tree Climber||Lela D Lowell Duplicate Memorial|
There is another memorial for Lela D Lowell at Find A Grave Memorial # 69456247. The 69456247 location has a copy of her obituary with family history and fact regarding her life and passing, including her maiden name.
