I was born in the old Shackleford Hospital in Martinsville, VA and grew up on Irisburg Road in southern Henry County. I moved away from Henry County after graduating from Drewry Mason High School in 1960. About 1989 I got interested in genealogy and like to "dabble" in it from time to time. I'm now retired and enjoy my family and friends, working in my yard, golf, horse racing, and my wife and I do a little traveling.|

LOL, I was just sitting here working on some Highland stuff when it came in. Thanks for asking about the legs, but they got me struggling, went down to Highland today, but gave it up pretty quickly due to swelling & pain. Do you know the story on Donalds sister Tisha, pretty interesting stuff about the murder. Ok, later, Larry
Thanks for the links!

Hi, I linked her to them. All is well here, kindda laying back, the knee is giving me fits, swelling up real bad so kindda taking a little time away from cemeteries. I did find another Winn and added her to f-a-g in Mountain View, it was Helen Winn Allen #126186640, she was the daughter of Jim Winn & Mary Elizabeth Winn that married a Bass after Jim died, the one we discussed before. Ok, hope all is well with you, Larry

I have linked all the folks you asked for.

Thanks a bunch, I will link Herman to Lizzie. Mountain View placed its first burials in 1920, so James most likely won't be there, nor Highland as Highland started a few years later.. I found record of Lizzie marrying Leon Bass in 1921 in Danville, and I added the info to her memorial.
If you like I can transfer Herman & Lizzie to you, I just enjoy getting out doing the photos & entering the good folks. Tell Anne hello, Larry

Forgot important part, Herman Douglas Winn and the two Mary's are buried in Mountain View
|larry eanes||James A Winn|
Hi Reamey, I hope all is well. Do you have any info on a James A Winn and family, born around 1870 in Henry County, Va, the last I can find James is 1910 census, shows his wife as Lizzie and he had a son named Herman Douglas Winn, which I have entered. Herman is buried beside a Mary Winn Bass(1879-1959) and a Mary Slaughter Winn, his wife. Is Mary Winn Bass Herman's mother and is she the wife of James A Winn and did she remarry a Bass after maybe James died, etc, hope to hear back, Larry.
