MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO:

BEANIE & JUNE who helped with the research and the thousands of hours we all have spent looking and developing this site not only for us but for others. Their input for the Auburn cemeteries has been transferred for me to maintain. Records will continue to be added. Any information, links, pictures, etc. are very welcome for all to share.

My horoscope one day in late Dec 2014.
It sounded so like me.

The oddest thing about your current situation is that the more you accomplish, the more you realize how much work there is still left to do. Unfortunately, you can't just walk away from your obligations now. You might even have to put extra effort into what seems like an impossible task. Forget about the final goal since you're not going to arrive there today, anyhow. Meanwhile, keep in mind that everything you do along the way can have a positive and lasting influence on the future.

RE: I found this on Ancestry.
Thanks. The Auburn Journal is known for its mistakes but the article heading was "Baby Passes" so I thought it was correct.

Lovett
Hi Glenda, I have a friend looking for information on Dretta Lovett. Your memorial says she was 11 years old, but her obituary say she was ll months old. If she was 11 years her mother Genenva would have been 8 when she was born if this is the same Geneva Lovett in Auburn in the 1940 census, and I think it is since her middle name is Dretta. Did you see the cemetery marker? If not I will try to find it. Do you still come to the library. The printer on the microfilm machine isn't working and when I take photos they don't turn out very good. Thanks, Karri

RE: Sponsored memorials
I did find her headstone at the Foresthill Cemetary. Still no cause of death. I am also researching her father, Thomas James. I was able to find his death certificate in Asian Francisco, but no mother maidan name and his father was also Thomas James. So I am stuck. Are there any burial records for the Thomas jameses that would help me?

Old Auburn Cemetary

Was married to Gloria Borgfeldt, whose real name was Elas Swanson. Yes, he married an Elsie Lee and Elas Swanson ( Gloria Borgfelt. They had a son, William Gary a James, my father. He was born Feb 19, 1929 and just passed away last month, November 35, 2014. He was 85 years old. He died in Lincoln, CA and has been cremated.
Thought you might want to include this. Thomas Lyle James, after a divorce from Gloria went on to marry Hazel Vendel, who he spent his remaining years with.
