Hello! I'm a graver, an artist, baseball entusiast, and an active participator of American Civil War living history presentations.|
Find-A-Grave is an excellent resource for determining one's heritage, family tree, and genealogy. Sometimes the smallest thread can lead to a successful path in defining someone's lineage instead of a dead end. (pun intended)
You can view some of my artwork at this site: flickr.com
I am a member of the Ohio Valley Civil War Association and the 6th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company A.

Thank you for this photo. Where can I find more information about John? There is another John E Fligor who died in 1844. I'm looking for my great-grandfather.

I was wondering if you could transfer John Feeney Hunter # 18935684 to me. He was my Great Grandfather and I would like to put in some links.

|francis keenan||James Keenan, Baseball Player|
The above, Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. Your bio for him has birth year of 1858. Best census accounts suggest birth year 1856. Can you provide source of info for the baseball bio you submitted for him at Spring Grove Cem. website? Am tracing his ancestry for a descendant. Census data often erroneous respecting birth years.
Also, James Keenan (1858-12929)was likely a son of James Keenan, b. 1820, Ireland. I think the father may have been a Civil War soldier for the Union but have not yet identified him.
Francis Keenan, Ph.D.
PS: Thank you for the work you are doing on both the Civil War and the Find A Grave fronts.
