Way back in my teens I began researching family history for the purpose of finding my father's parents. It has since ballooned into a mega-project. I presently have nearly 32,000 individuals in my FTM database. Someone stop me! I've learned many fascinating facts about my ancestors. It's been a helluva ride.

Brenda L Aguel
Memorial # 120328444
Hi Jill, my husband and I were researching our families ancestry and happen to run into this website. There is a lot of information missing that my husband would like to share.

After his divorce from Irma, he legally married Alba M. Castillo (born 1947) from Managua, Nicaragua. They met and were married in Los Angeles, Ca. Their union lasted about 35 years until his death in 2006. Together they raised a son, Vicente Aguel ( born 1979 in Los Angeles, Ca).During their years together Jorge and Alba worked hard to establish stability and security for their family. They owned a company that bought sold heavy equipment internationally. They where very hands on. They personally delivered the equipment to different countries. The delivery would usually consist of driving from the US all through Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador to Nicaragua. They would be in the road for weeks at a time. This lucrative venture went on for many years until the communist took over Nicaragua. With Their profits, they decided to venture in a new business and opened various restaurants/bakeries named " La Adelita". La Adelita gained a strong following and became a landmark in LA. During their marriage they also had large holdings in commercial property and residential property. After his passing in 2006 Jorge and Alba's only son, Vicente Aguel, an award winning equestrian, manages all of their holdings in commercial and residential properties. Vicente Aguel married Brenda L Meza (Brenda L Aguel born in Los Angeles, Ca) A licensed clinical mental health therapist. They decided to continue growing the family business and now focus their time on their commercial property holdings. With Vicente's vast knowledge and business sense and Brenda's background helping underprivileged communities, together they have organized various events helping intercity youth. Together, their philanthropic work have helped children all over the US, Mexico and Nicaragua. Vicente's dedication to community was recognized by the Byzantine Latino Quarter Business Improvement District by naming him President. Vicente has a son, Vicente Scott Aguel.

re: Anna Gorder's marker
Hi Jill,
I was just looking at Anna Gorder's monument in the Perry Lutheran Cemetery, and I think a rubbing would be helpful. To me the dates look like:
born - Oct 28, 1845
died - Feb 22(27), 1873
The last number is definitely a"3".
Later,
Mike H.

RE: Monson
Sorry, I don't have that message saved any longer, but the gist of it was a suggestion to add cemetery names where Nelvin Monson - Memorial# 101475736 and Dena Monson - Memorial# 101557794 are buried. This has been taken care of now.

Also, the message was to inform you that I added Nelvin Monson (a different memorial) per cemetery transcription records. I have DELETED that duplicate, now that his memorial was updated with the correct cemetery. See other MONSON family memorials that I created & linked, per various research. If you wish any of those memorials transferred to your care, please advise.

See:
1. Lyda Mathison Monson - Memorial# 130023180
(wife of Nelvin)
2. Pvt Vernon H Monson - Memorial# 130023274
(son of Nelvin & Lyda)
3. Kenneth Nelvin Monson - Memorial# 130183223
(son of Nelvin & Lyda)

I prefer public messages, or to correspond via EDIT Suggestions. Perhaps you could change your e-mail address on your contributor profile in order to receive edit suggestions others might send you. You can also change your e-mail and then set it to not be displayed, if you want to keep it private. I prefer to keep my e-mail address private. Thanks!

RE: Huggins relationship to Reid family
The only memorial that seems to match with what you have is Ruth Chapman. Is this who you are asking about? If you click on the edit tab on the actual memorial then it will connect directly with whom you are sending information about.

Monson
Let me know if you did NOT receive my edit suggestions sent 5-19-14, for Nelvin Monson - Memorial# 101475736 and Dena Monson - Memorial# 101557794 - giving cemetery name for each. I have added and linked more of that family too.

Actually I posted the Blums because I too have a connection to Joseph. I prefer to keep them but you can always post pictures and get links made without owning the site. I will be happy to make any additions you wish.

RE: Sam and Ida Anderson
The transfers are made.
It would have been easier if you had specified the memorial numbers of the records you wanted transferred, besides their name

Thomas & Margaret Young - Flagg Spring
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kycampbe/flaggspringcemetery.htm and http://files.usgwarchives.net/ky/campbell/cemeteries/flaggspr.txt

you caught my mistake - Margaret died in 1833. The cemetery records say Thomas died in 1853 but that is not a 1853 stone. It's more like 1833.

Elizabeth H Phister transfer
Thanks Jill, That is the correct way to request transfers and I have made the transfer to your account.
If you follow that procedure in the future, it'll work much better and quicker for everybody.
Best of luck with your research.
