I just love genealogy. I got hooked several years ago. I just love walking cemeteries. Many old stones are gorgeous. I just love a good mystery to solve. Many time answers are just awaiting me. I just have to keep my eyes open. |
I add other stones that I see in my treks in hope of helping others. If I have added one of your family, I'd be happy to transfer "management" of the memorial to you. Just let me know. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to do so. That way, I can make sure that I am transferring the correct monument. If you notice any errors, please let me know via the edit tab and I will make the corrections. Thanks. Please be patient with me about the edits that are sent automatically. I do try to keep up with them. Sometimes I do forget to check.
I lived in Green Township, a Cincinnati suburb for many years. I walked many of the cemeteries in Hamilton County, Ohio and Campbell & Kenton Counties in Kentucky. I currently live in Whitefish, Montana.
I walk cemeteries in Flathead County now.

You are so welcome! Happy day, Jhere
Hello Carol, the only gravestone placed was for Henry and Christina's son Henry. I photographed the area, made notes on the memorial, and added the Lot Card to the memorials. Happy day, Jhere

I wish I had the source at my disposal now. I came across it in some notes I was keeping because I am working on one of your ancestor's business partners. Take a look at my memorial for Bernard Holters (1823-1878). I'll try to locate where I obtained the birthplace and send it your way.

It's understandable. There really is no obvious boundary between the two except that only the Catholic portion is maintained. The Protestant one is completely neglected and overgrown.

I've found many here with no stones found. I was helping clean the perimeter of the cemetery this summer & questiond about the records. They were lost or destroyed so I decided to try and re-create them. There was very few records in the office. I'm wrapping up loose ends & putting my info in the church office. I probably could do more research but need to get back to my own family research.
