I was born in Texas and have spent most of my life here. I am very intersted in family history/genealogy and that is how I found this website. If I can help someone else find their roots please let me know.|
My family names include Bailey, Bartlett, Boddie, Chilton,Davis,Exum,Harwood, Jones, Leftwich, Loomis, Perkins, Prince, Stratton, Thompson, Traylor Washburn and Womack.
All of the above are military ancestors from Mayflower-Rev War-War of 1812, Civil War and War with Mexico. Brown is also a family name.

|Danny Leshikar||Machacek - Lesikar correction|
Barbara can you please make a few corrections.
Peter Machacek 1878 - 1940 was married to Annie Lesikar 12/1/1882 Rockdale, TX - 1/24/1978 Rosebud, TX. You presently have him listed as married to Annie's sister Hermina (Minnie) Lesikar 1884 - 1966. Herminia was married to Emil Doskocil (1884-1967) who already has a spot at findagrave.
Annie and Hermina are both daughters of Joe Lesikar (1854-1912) and Annie (Skrla) Lesikar ( 1862-1956) who are already on findagrave too.
I can give you complete birthdates, deathdates, and burial locations when you are ready for them.
Thanks so much for fixing this for my cousins.

My wife Bennie Bailey Maine's Bailey family goes back to Joseph Bailey who immigrated to Philadelphia in 1774 then supplied, fought for and supplied materials for the Revolution. She is also connected to the PA Baileys through her mothers Rickett family to Joel who came to Marlborough, Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the 1680s .
I am connected to the Washburn family through Sarah who married John Partch through Ruben, Asa, Seth, Joseph, Joseph, and John.
My fifth grandmother was Thankful Brown who married Jeremiah Main Jr, North Stonington, CT. She died while living at her second son's house in Madison county, NY. Her cemetery was thought lost to a greedy farmer, but it turned out that Madison county moved the road 1/2 mile in the 1830s by taking out a curve. A former Ragk volunteer took the time to dig up road surveys, and wondered into brush and found her memorial and the cemetery still existed for which I will owe her forever.

Thank you so much for the picture! awesome!
Barbara, Thank you so much for the picture of the headstone that was quick. Would you also post the picture on her husband since it is a double headstone. I looked for her last year her death certificate was not clear where she was buried so I did not make a memorial at that time but just found it made just recently and asked for a picture.

Hi Barbara, I have now connected the son to the father. However, since I don't manage the father or the grandfather, I can't connect them. The father is managed by DogMama08, so she will need to connect him and the grandfather. Boy, that's a riddle isn't it! Judy
Is not very clear. Who is Carrie Washburn's husband? Please send another correction with the appropriate links and I will make them.
|Brittany Markward||Josiah Bartlett|
Hi Barbra, my name is Brittany I'm an eleventh generation great granddaughter of Josiah Bartlett. I've been wanting to start a family tree because aside from knowing that three of his sons and seven generations of his grandsons were doctors (up to my great grandfather Elsworth Bartlett), I don't know anything about them or who they were. so I was wondering if you might have any information about them or the Bartlett family in general.
Thanks so much!
|Robert Hague||RE: Garrow-Delgado|
No, I am not related to the Garrow or Delgado families. I am just a Find A Grave volunteer that is working on memorials in the Glenwood Cemetery. Rather than just post what is on the grave marker, I find it much more interesting if I do a little research by looking as Texas Death Records, census records and even a google search now and then. I am mainly working on memorials in Sect. E-2; however, the daughter of John T. Brady married a Garrow and that led me to the Garrow family plot. If I have created any memorials for any of your family, just let me know and I will transfer them over to you.
