I have been doing genealogy as a hobby for over 25 years and am gradually adding members of my family and others to Find A Grave, and/or adding personal photos from my collection and details to memorials which you wonderful volunteers have already added. I have Swedish ancestry and enjoy doing Swedish research in my spare time.|
Besides my family and its connections in the USA and Sweden, my other areas of interest are historical, war and military graves in Europe. The purpose of my contributions to the Find A Grave website is to respectfully honor and help preserve the memories of those who have gone before us.
Please use the edit tab on each memorial page for suggestions, corrections or additions.
My grave photos are free to anyone for non-profit use, and it would be much appreciated if you gave credit to Find A Grave.
Thanks to everyone for your contributions and for so promptly filling requests! I will upgrade all memorials where photo requests of mine are fulfilled.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours....
I assume they are your parents, CORRECT ????
Glad to see you sponsoring them !!!!
Nathan Hale is just down the street from me, so with camera in hand this morning I went there to see if Mary finally got her stone....
Grabbed a shot of it along with the new carvings on the main monument and posted them to their Find A Grave site....

Thanks for beautiful photos on the above sites in Mt Auburn. I appreciate your note & visit to the gravesite. Richard
Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to add Cyrillic names to FG and transliterate them properly. I also do Cyrillic name transliteration and have been quite disappointed to see some of these names entered as "unknown" or (even worse) using unreadable alphabet salad. Your efforts are much appreciated. Dyakuyu! - Spud

|Keith Andrews||Photos of James Andrews|
I would just like to say a massive thank you to you for the pictures you took of my uncles grave in Hanover Cemetery.
The photographs are very special to my father (James's Brother) and were a great surprise to him. He was also very moved that someone like yourself would take the time to do this for us.
I hope in a way I can repay your kindness by helping
someone else in their search of a loved one.
Thank You once again

First--a big thank you for all the plot location edits for the Hannover grave sites that you've been researching and sending my way. I very much appreciate all your help!
Second--re: Private G. (or 'C.', a your records state) Brown...this link will take you to a photo of his grave marker (it's on the Canadian Post-war Military and Dependant Graves site), so you can see for yourself---
Thanks again for keeping in touch.

|Lutetia||Friederike and Johann Franz von Wendt|
I was actually surprised who Friederikes mother was, and who her daughter was. It would be interesting to find out where those two are buried.
A note on the two memorials. They aren't cenotaphs they are actually buried there.

I am very happy you are getting those photos. Interesting thing with that "bone chamber". Last time I was on Helgoland was in the mid 1980's, waaaaaaayyyyyy before my interest in cemeteries.
