I had a disappointment regarding requesting management transfer of a memorial managed by Find-a-Grave. It took over a month to get declined. I turned right around and made a second request, pointing out the long delay and how the volunteers must be overloaded. Doubt if it will succeed.
I find their transfer policies extremely restrictive. I manage several of my Great-greats four generations back, and apparently only because the policy was ignored. But I shouldn't complain.
I wondered, though, if you had any experience with memorials managed by Find-a-Grave? I'm guessing they take over inactives. If you have any advice or know any ways to work around this problem, I would like to know. Thanks.

The other day I was telling the story about how we found the brother and sister of Albert Fass.
I want you to know how much I appreciate your patience and willingness to listen when I had the bug to try to link them. The obituaries that you found were especially helpful. That success we accomplished has inspired me to pursue other puzzles. I am working on one right here in Colorado, now.
I wish I could have attended the 150th at the Old Stone Church last month. My Mom sent me a newspaper clipping of the event.
I wish you well and hope you are happy and busy.

The "official" name is Walnut Creek Cemetery based on Seward County Historical Society records...Morford was a name that the locals used many years ago. I created Walnut Creek and listed the memorials via official cemetery records from the society. Long story short: the other contributor who created Morford has a "bee in her bonnet" about burials I've created and has refused to honor the fact that my listings were created first. She claims she has more information about each but refuses to share any of it. I had forgotten about this until you mentioned it and will contact Find A Grave admin about removing/consolidating Morford to Walnut Creek.

Thanks Carolyn, it would be great to have her obit. It makes me no difference how you want to do it. Which way comes out better? I'll let you decide. Denise

Thank you so very, very much for posting her obituary. My family is so happy to have this information. She was a missing puzzle piece.

I added a photo of the Reepsholt church book page on which Hermann/Harm/Harmon appears. I'm just letting you know so you know its there in case you would prefer not to have it or would like to adjust the sort order.

Hello Carolyn, I am no relation, I just like connecting as much family as I can. I got pics for Tourtelot parents today, and daughter Mollie May Hadine, who is in their plot. I really like looking into the history of people from Lincoln's History, I remember Ben Simons well! Thanks, Kevin.
