Do It Now
I expect to pass through this world
but once.
Any good thing, therefore, that I can do
or any kindness that I can show
to any fellow human being
let me do it now.
Let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
Stephen Grellet (17731855)
Quaker missionary

My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in some way.

I don't mind if you use my pics for your personal use or even on your genealogy website but say where it came from!! If you save a photo to your computer from findagrave.com, reference findagrave.com and the memorial number, let others know about this website! Without the reference, I consider the image stolen.

If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion."

I am most willing - and passionate - to make the memorials as detailed as possible. I use online and/or hard copy vital records and census records, along with family genealogies and other biographies, data, and newspaper articles to make the memorials I post as complete as possible - this research takes time so if you come across one of my memorials that lacks details and you have some, please help me out and send the details along to me via the EDIT tab.

Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

RE: Charles Lysnader Hicks
Yes, I know what you mean about the similar first names I had some of the children with the wrong mother in my database. Thanks for fixing the findagrave link. Findagrave is really great, especially when the family links have been added.

RE: Hiram Hicks 113120267
Looking at the 1860 census in Rowe, Franklin, Massachusetts, I find Lydia with her children up to Herbert (no Merritt). In 1870 in the same location we find Hiram Hick's son, who was also named Hiram with wife Charlotte and children. One of them named Merritt A. Hicks. His brothers Herbert and James are also living with him. I think the 2nd Merritt on you list of children was really his grandson, not his son.

I'm happy to be able to help. Your outstanding memorials have made posting photos of all the stones in the North Cemetery far easier and quicker. Thanks for your obvious dedication and thoroughness.

Our roamings seem to overlap quite a bit. I'm pleased to have you working in my part of the world.

I received the obituary you sent for Ralph. I added the appropriate info from it, but deleted all mention of any living relatives. Thanks for the additional information.

Elizabeth Fisher (#111493918)
You sent me a message that Elizabeth is buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Winchester N.H.

It will not be necessary to delete your memorial.

I have reconnected her son George F. Juniper (#111494038) to your memorial (#129707298).

I believe it will make things easier for both of us.

Thanks for your assistance.
