Bio and Links
Bio Photo Every life has a story, every story has a lesson...
- Oprah Winfrey

May your happiness increase with your virtues, may generous hearts, true friendships, peaceful and happy firesides, be the reward of your labors of love...
[from Ebenezer R Child (1777-1866)]

My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in some way.

I don't mind if you use my pics for your personal use or even on your genealogy website but say where it came from!! If you save a photo to your computer from, reference and the memorial number, let others know about this website! Without the reference, I consider the image stolen.

If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion."

I am most willing - and passionate - to make the memorials as detailed as possible. I use online and/or hard copy vital records and census records, along with family genealogies and other biographies, data, and newspaper articles to make the memorials I post as complete as possible - I have several projects going at the same time so it may take awhile for me to add details. Research takes time so if you come across one of my memorials that lacks details and you have some, please help me out and send the details along to me via the EDIT tab. If you would provide me your resource(s) I will include in the bio - the source(s) will help generations to come...

Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

RE: George Henry Howes 107619024
I missed your message and just found your question.

What I have in my notes is George Henry Howes, parents Alonzo Lilly Howes and Emily White Gates.
Possible birth 04 Mar 1875/77
Possibly in Greenfield, MA.

I have notes (no proof) he is buried in Ashfield MA, Plains cemetery with his wife Abby (Abbie) Geneva Covill.

Emily was from Westminster, MA perhaps another location for George's birth. And at the time of his death Alonzo and Emily were living in Gardner, MA perhaps another location for George's birth.

RE: norah (jackson) onthank
I have found her parents, grandparents. I am not sure about the Forest Hills cemetery in Jamaica, MA however. The death records state Forest Hill, MA but there isn't a city by that name.
