Bio and Links
Bio Photo The image of the peacock was a logo for a talent agency business in 1969 located in St Simons Island, Georgia. The owner also had residences and/or connections in AL, FL, VA and MA. If you have seen this logo anywhere, please send me a message with any information you have by clicking below on "leave message" - the image could help solve a genealogy mystery...Thanks for keeping your eyes out for it.

My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in some way.

I don't mind if you use my pics for your personal use or even on your genealogy website but say where it came from!! If you save a photo to your computer from, reference and the memorial number, let others know about this website! Without the reference, I consider the image stolen.

If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion."

I am most willing - and passionate - to make the memorials as detailed as possible. I use online and/or hard copy vital records and census records, along with family genealogies and other biographies, data, and newspaper articles to make the memorials I post as complete as possible - I have several projects going at the same time so it may take awhile for me to add details. Research takes time so if you come across one of my memorials that lacks details and you have some, please help me out and send the details along to me via the EDIT tab. If you would provide me your resource(s) I will include in the bio - the source(s) will help generations to come...

Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

Truman Leonard
Lemuel Allis (m. to Lydia Beals & Rhoda Burroughs) would be Truman's uncle.

Hang on...
I still got it wrong. Here it is (sorry) ;-):

This Rhoda is the wife of Lemuel Allis, son of the Lemuel Allis married to my Rebecca Davis I'm trying to connect with her parents, Isaac Davis & Charity Hall. Truman Leonard talks all in his journals about this Lemuel Allis side, naming the wives & children by date.

Here's how it goes:
Hey not a problem! Thanks for helping me... I must have put the wrong link in for Abel Owen. It's this one you contributed to:

Elizabeth (Betsy) Owen (m. to Abel) is the daughter of Reuben Davis (m. to Mary Polly Abbott) who is the brother of the Rebecca Davis (m. to Lemuel Allis/Ellis)I am trying to connect to their parents, Isaac Davis & Charity Hall.

Giddings Family

Thank you for your edits to my memorials for the Giddings family members in Greenwood Cemetery. By any chance, are you related? As far as I know, I am not, and would be happy to transfer their memorials to someone who knows them. Please let me know if you'd like a transfer.

Take care, and thanks, again.

Rebecca Davis (m. to Lemuel Allis/Ellis - son of Samuel Allis/Ellis)
Also, Truman Leonard mentions Lemuel Allis/Ellis family in his journals with visits and other family history he found (accessed thru BYU Perry Collections). Reuben Davis names his last born, Lemuel Allis/Ellis, as found in his will. My Mother is also a Wing. Thank you! Jackie Coleman

Rebecca Davis (m. to Lemuel Allis/Ellis - son of Samuel Allis/Ellis)
Looking for a solid connection for Rebecca/Rebecka Davis Allis/Ellis to her supposed parents, Isaac Davis & Charity Hall, and sibling, Reuben Davis (m. to Mary Polly Abbott). Reuben Davis was born 13 Mar 1764 in Tyringham, Berkshire, Massachusetts, USA & died in 1810 in Pompey, Onondaga, New York. Thank you! The will for Isaac Davis names wife, Charity, & children Rebecka and Reuben, along with other siblings (John, Sarah, Mary, Soloman/Solomon, Nathan, Charity, & Isaac)), but does not mention any of their married names, spouses, or grandchildren. Thank you! Jackie Coleman

RE: Estella Wilcox McLane
Thank you for the email regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Estella. I was aware of this and came across many newspaper articles about the affair during research for my family history book.
