 | RE: William Hall We have tried to clean up the cemetery, but the timber company came through and took out some of the trees which allowed overgrowth in other areas, our side of the cemetery and the church near the cemetery is using the open clean side of the area, for their graves. This has been going on for a long time and the pine trees are 20 or more feet high and growing in the graves in some areas, which would destroy the graves around them. It is a sad thing. Some of the graves you can not even get to because of the growth over them. | | | Dianne Bean Barfield
 | RE: William Hall Yes his wife is buried next to him. I am working on making her a memorial page next. If there are others around them we could not read their names. The side of the cemetery they are buried in has been allowed to be over run with weeds and very large pine trees. And it is not a place you go while the snakes are moving about. Their son William Kelly Hall, jr and wife are buried down the road a few miles in another cemetery often called the Hall cemetery by locals. I have been to both sites. Dianne | | | Lynn Feingold
 | James Richmond correction Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have corrected the memorial.

 | RE: Ancel Bassett Hi Spirit, I will add the inscription... my Lee lines are Foote and Peirson, who married Smiths and Bassetts and Fenners and Chapins and all sorts of other people in Lee and Pittsfield. Who knows, maybe our Bassetts cross somewhere! Thanks for the note. Soon to go on vacation myself to - guess what - research cemeteries on a line of my husband's in upstate NY.Added by SheWolf on Apr 16, 2013 7:58 PM | | | SheWolf
 | Ancel Bassett Hi Spirit I posted a photo of Ancel Bassett's tombstone however it was extremely hard to read (they all were!) | RE: Mercy Whitcumb Hi, I'm going to that particular cemetery (First Parish) because I found out I have numerous relatives there. Winslows, Riders, Barrows, Mendalls, Briggs, Swifts, Gibbs, Snows, to name some off the top of my head. I go to get good pics of my ancestors' gravestones to put on my ancestry.com family tree. If I can get some decent shots of other non-family member stones, I'll take them also, to help others. I know I've been helped by findagrave to locate many ancestors I would have had no idea where they were buried.
So, it's just coincidence that I'm 'following' you. 99 percent of my family is from Barnstable, Plymouth and Bristol counties, so that is where I will be doing my searches and photo taking.

 | Guillaume "William" Spoor transfer Is it possible to transfer William to me. He is my grandfather Archie Spoor's father. I post often to this site and will take care of this individual well. | | | Addie
 | RE: Esther Gage It turns out the Esther Gage married to Jonathan Currin was in 1740, obviously wrong Esther. Thanks anyway.Added by Addie on Mar 17, 2013 9:24 AM | | | Addie
