My name is Spirit Baker,
My maternal family is from England surname's Hall (Hull) and Doane (Doan)(Dunn) with Armstrong from Scotland and then North Ireland. My paternal family is Eli Baker from NY and moved to CT in late 1800's and then my Grandpa, Norman Baker, moved to MA.
I gather a bit of info from FamilySearch and add it to the bios. If you see an error please let me know and I will promptly update.
You may use my photos as you wish except to sell.
Thank you and good luck with your searches.

I have only noticed the Global Find A Grave pages in the last couple of years. They may have been there longer, but had not seen them. They seem to be when someone wants to create a page, but cannot find the burial site, or when someone is buried at sea. I suppose it also applies to scattered cremains.
Sorry not to have answered this sooner. Have been working in Ancestry.com for over 4 years, but fairly new at FindAGrave.com.

Thank you for creating a memorial for Nancy T. Davis Hathaway. I wanted to point out that the transcription for her birth year is listed as May 1827, and she died in her 42nd year in 1849. Her correct birth year should be 1807. Thanks. Joanne
Hi Spirit, I was wondering around the Pleasant Hill cemetery in Wellfleet MA this morning and found Asa Doane's head stone. There is another Doane family headstone near by, but I could not find his wife Mary. There are many other Doane's within the cemetery grounds but not near Asa. I'd more than happy to go back and look around some more, if you could provide some more info on Mary.

I am so happy to see the memorial for John Richmond. He is my great grandfather. My husband and I traveled to England for my parents 5oth wedding anniversary. We did go to Wilts to see the Richmond home. It is a large stone country home. The grounds are still (1995) encircled with the original stone wall.
It is true that John accidentally shot his brother, Henry.
If you are still the memorial administrator, would you be so kind as to allow me to administrate John's memorial? I would be honored to have his grave.

Wondering if you were able to check for a stone at Holy Cross Cemetery Malden Ma. for Sullivan, Catherine Barrett
b. 1838 d. Jul. 21, 1915
I checked in 2005 for a stone and did not find one wondering if I found the right spot.
I may or not be related.
Do you mind if I add my info that I have from Holy Cross Cemetery Malden.

That's OK. It certainly does not hurt to ask. I hope I have not offended in any way. It was not intended. Ray
If you could send me an edit for each of the memorials you would like to manage I will transfer. Chose the "Suggest any other correction or addition" option and just type "please transfer". It makes everything much easier for me. Thanks! Jim

Also, if I have memorialized any family members you wish to manage and detail the bios for just send me an edit suggestion. For the earliest memorials (people who passed away before c. 1900) please give me a couple days to develop them first. It's not that I don't think you will anyway, but I make it a point now always to add as much as I can before a transfer just in case the member never does a thing with it (which has happened many times unfortunately). Linking family is so important. Keep up the awesome work. Jim

Thanks for all your edits! I hope that I am giving credit in a way that you approve of, I will eventually develop these memorials in Swansea much further but not for some time. In the interim I sincerely appreciate your help in adding details, they will certainly help me when I am researching these individuals later. Jim

Tried several times to get a usable picture. Tough lighting made that side of the monument very difficult to take a readable photo. Had to break out the 35mm instead of my usual iPhone/iPad method. Will check the other requests for Mount Hope Cemetery - Swansea sometime this weekend.
