As Parish Historian of St John's Parish, Jamaica Plain, I am editing the Centennial History of the parish, by John H. Wilson. He devoted a chapter to "Mr. E. B. Sampson Reviews His Half Century in the Parish." Sadly, those pages are missing from the remaining typescript, although they were in the original (pagination). Have you any idea where memoirs of E.B. Sampson may have ended up?

Dwayne, The Abraham Samson Rev. War grave must have been a descendant of our Abraham. Ours died about 1686 - the one listed on Ancestry as buried at Duxbury reads: Abraham Samson, Duxbury - Private, Capt. Benjamin Wadsworth's 2nd Duxbury Co. of Militia, Col. James Warren's (Plymouth county) regiment, April 19, 1775, service of 3 days, (bur. Duxbury). There is no mention of which cemetery he was buried at. It's so sad when grave markers are lost to time. I totally understand why you hesitate to change any info. I guess we just need to go with the info you were provided. At least we have a memorial for him. Thanks for getting back to me so quick.

I was wondering if you know if Abraham's grave marker was actually found at the Hillcrest cemetery? Since it wasn't established until 1706 and he died circa 1686 in Duxbury. It confuses me why he would be buried in Plympton when he made his home in Duxbury.
Thanks for any info you can give me on this.

You sent me an email with changes for Joy Brigman in the McCullough Cemetery in Stone Co., MO.
You stated his wife was Josephine Hobbs but the memorial # you gave me was for Mary Overman, and you stated later in your email that his wife's name was Josephine Hobbs Brigman Overton.
To many differences for me to make revisions without more clarification regarding names, etc.
|Chris Coulter||Cearley family information|
I am the great great grandson of Georgia Ann Cearley and sent you an email about any additional pictures or information you may have, but wanted to send a post on here in case that aol address wasn't current. I have some pictures of her as well as her parents if you would like to have copies.
My fingers are on a diet now.
