|Ann Grady||RE: Twin City Cemetery|
I have noticed that find a grave list both cemeteries as #1 & 2. I do not know how they tell the difference between the two. Twin City Cemetery (Whetsell) was founded in 1987 when John Whetsell died. So anyone buried before 1987 would be in the Twin City-Coleman Cemetery. They are right next to each other. Twin City Cemetery used to be Whetsell Cemetery. Do not know when the name changed. If you are a Coleman or Rountree they are all buried in the Coleman Cemetery. Proctor is a Rountree, so all of his family is buried in the Coleman Cemetery. Hope this helps. Notice a lot of errors on these Cemeteries in Find A Grave.
|Ann Grady||Twin City Cemetery|
There are to Twin City Cemeteries located in Twin City, Ga. Both are right next to each other. The oldest is Twin City-Coleman Cemetery. Land was donated for a cemetery by my grandfather Jerry T. Coleman. The other cemetery is the Twin City Cemetery. Land was donated by John E. Whetsell. People here call it the Whetsell Cemetery. Proctor Jones is buried in the Twin City-Coleman Cemetery. In the Cemeteries of Emanuel County Georgia pulblish ed by Moses M. Coleman, Jr., the names are listed as Coleman Cemetery (Twin City) and Twin City Cemetery.
It is very confusing unless you live here and know the difference. Most of the funeral homes list Twin City Cemetery as burial place instead of Twin City-Coleman Cemetery. Some just list Coleman Cemetery.

Hi Bill! So sorry to hear of your brother's bout with cancer. It is a nasty, sneaky disease. Mr. Don is my husband and my friend's dad which is the only reason I put it in yesterday. We'll be at the funeral tomorrow to pay our respects.
Yes, I was very lucky and even having my Dad and Grandmama go through colon cancer, it still tried to sneak up on me to take me out! I had a wonderful doctor that I was told by my GI doctor to wait for, which I only had to wait a month to see him, Dr. Sidney Morrison. He is a genius as far as I am concerned. My cancer was located at the turn (nook/corner turn) of my rectum which was why I was told to wait for Dr. Morrison. My GI doctor said that if a little extra time was needed during the surgery so the intestine could be reconnected to the rectum during the surgery, Dr. Morrison would definitely take the time to do it. Dr. Morrison would not take the easy way out giving me a colostomy bag and then having to go back in later and possibly reconnecting it. He was right. My surgery took 3 1/2 hours and when he got into it he only had a little over 1/2 inch to reconnect it. I came out without have a colostomy bag! It took my body time to readjust to the "new plumbing" which was by no means fun since I went right into chemo six weeks after my surgery which brought on all the joys of the side effects while my body was trying to heal also. This year has been the first year that I've really felt like a pretty normal person again. All of it has been worth the alternative!
Happy Find-A-Graving My Friend! ~Laurie~

Hi there! I need help with Wiley W. DeLoach who was married to his brother's, William W. DeLoach, widow Jane Ann Virginia Zetterouer. William was killed in 1863 during the Civil War.

Hello Bill, I received an e-mail message today saying I had a message from a Jean Rousseau but the only message I see on the memorial site is this old one from you. I check under the message option and don't see it. Am I doing it wrong, not sure how to find it. Thank you & I hope this finds you well. Laure A. Vassall

After checking wt Find A Grave, you had created a memorial that was combined with mine...regardless of the dates. The system failed us both... Your photo was added to my memorial during a F.A.G. melting of the two entries. Your photo is still there and you may keep it there. They say they are going to improve search capabilities on the website. Maybe that will cut down on duplications of memorials...

Hi Mr Waters,
I appreciate you wanting to add photos to memorials, but unfortunately I would like you to Remove Your Color Photo of Vennis Ferrell. It was taken from the mortuary announcement and not given by the family, so it's not allowed by F.A.G. policies. SORRY. Besides, there IS a photo of Vennis there already, set in B&W, of the same photo, I received from proper sources.
The family only wants a number of small photos on the memorial. Because of the sharpness of the cemetery photo, I had to enlarge it to read and see it.
But the one thing that REALLY EXCITES ME: it's VERY unlikely that you could post the PHOTO on Dec 6th, 2013 as the POST DATE UNDER THE PHOTO ON THE MEMORIAL States. The memorial wasn't created until 20 DAYS LATER by me, and that in the last 3 months there has been no activity on this memorial for awhile. So you have confirmed to me that whether by accident or on purpose, and I'm not accusing you, that people CAN change their computer time clock, to falsify entries to Find A Grave memorial or creation date, to show that false entry dates CAN BE MADE, and the server's clock DOESN'T control the time stamp. I would suggest you set your computer to network time sync for your clock on board your computer. It can help to verify when you make inquires for legal purposes. I've had the time changed on me, against my original entry time and dates, that happen before, and wt your photo entry, it proves that it can be done. I've forwarded this to Find A Grave, to show I was right on my entry dates a year ago on a memorial entered by me of a famous person and the entry date of the falsely entered memorial was back dated... I had to delete mine. Never again will I do that! Thanks for your time and confirming this can be done.

Could you delete your memorial for this person. I am his sister and have already created a memorial for him under the correct cemetery.
Or you can please transfer to me if you want to keep your memorial totals as is.

Thank you for creating this memorial page. Would you please transfer him to me so that I may reunite Bill with our family?
Also, may I have your permission to use this picture on his ancestry page?
Thank you again for all that you do for Find A grave and for considering this transfer.
Have a nice day,
