Lucy T. Gorham:
The memorial I posted for Lucy T. Gorham was from the copy of the Ashland County, Ohio Cemeteries book I have. If I had found a readable monument I would have posted a photo. Sorry for the confusion.

RE: Capt. George Taylor, location in cemetery
Hi Lee,
If I remember correctly, it is the far left side of the cemetery, towards the back.

Yes Sarah is buried next to Isaac. The graves were hard to read 20 years ago. If you send me your email address, I'll send you pictures of graves from road in Cemetery were my car was parked.....come to think of it, it was more like 25 years ago. Are you related? They are my great great great great great grandparents.

RE: Amos and Catherine Mead
Thank you for this additional important information. And her name is "Catherine," not "Catharine," correct?

RE: Amos and Catherine Mead

Thank you so much for your incredibly prompt posting of the gravestone photos for Amos and Catharine Mead. You wrote: The inscriptions are hard to read because they're so badly worn. Sorry I had to "break" up the stone but that was the only way I could good shots (or the best ones I could get) of the inscriptions.

I am grateful to have these photos; although the inscription for "Catharine" is somewhat difficult to read, it appears that her first name was "Catharine" (not "Caroline" as listed in some genealogy sources). Do you agree?

RE: Martha (Rose) Austin
Judging from the way I numbered the photos, she must be buried on the far north end of the cemetery, but I don't recall if I began at the street end or the back edge.

The people around her are:

Harry Sherman Whysong
George D Whysong
Maggie Gray
Crystal Knowlton
Robert A Luce
Lyman S Luce
Thomas Manning Luce
Francis/Franklin? Taft?
Nellie Irene Austin
Nina May Taft
Martha Rose Austin
Nellie Cordelia Taft
Mary Maud Taft
Charles Wright
Lovina Wright
Frank J Wright
Forest Case
Kenneth Cae
Milford F Case
Seth Marvin
Ira Taft
Prudence Marvin

Hopefully this will enable you to find Martha a bit better. I know how frustrating it is to try to find a particular headstone in a large cemetery.

Hi Lee, You created a memorial for John Howland, Burial Hill, Plymouth, Mass. I want to let you know that it is a duplicate. There is already a memorial for him. It was created in 2002 and is maintained by Find A Grave. Sandy
