My main areas of interest are the Irish of Mount Carmel, Northumberland County and the cemeteries of the Numidia area of Columbia County, Pennsylvania.|
I can do lookups for a good deal of the cemeteries of those areas. In addition, I do findagrave volunteer picture requests for Lebanon and western Berks County cemeteries.
I try my best to verify information through several sources before I make a memorial. However, no one's perfect. If you find a mistake or would like something added to one of my memorials, please let me know and I'll be happy to correct/update.

Yes you are right it is a mystery. I am preparing for a missions trip to Haiti so the mystery will have to take a back burner but will dig it up when I get home. Sue

I was wondering if you had a picture of this grave and whether his wife's grave was there too??
You give his parents names. Are they on the headstone or are their graves there also??
thanks for any info - you posted this in April of this year.

Hi, are you related to Ann Eliza Sparks Smith? Her information is correct and very specific, meaning that you are researching this family. I am a relative. Could you let me know.

What you say is not unusual. In the days before the cemeteries on top of the mountain were built and the others on the Dooleyville hill were built, ALL Catholics were buried at Saint Marys. Some of the older people, as they died, may have chosen to be buried in Saint Mary's with other members of their family or even with friends instead of going into their correct church cemeteries, like the Ford Family chose to do. Maybe one member of the family was Irish and the other was Italian and they chose to be buried in Saint Mary's instead of Saint Peter's, see what I mean? Sincerely, Robert Miller
I see what I did. There are 2 stones together. I will fix it when I get home. In Catawissa till Wednesday. Gary
I transferred the photo to Sarah and deleted the duplicate. Gary

Thank you for your quick reply. I do have the Find-A-Grave #43507838 for David H. Gunther. This Find-A-Grave does not list his parents. It lists his wife Christianne Fetterman and his children: Eva, Caroline, Irvin and Aaron. I have never heard of Edgard Gunther so that is a new name for me. If this is his father's name (Edgard), than the information I have for David's father is incorrect. I have his father as David William Gunther. He also used the nae William D Gunther. He is also buried in Roselawn Cemetery and he had 3 marriages and I believe an unmarried relationship with Eva Hower, David Henry's mother. If you find David Henry Gunther's death certificate, could you send me a copy so I have documentation. The Division of Vital Records could not find a death certificate when I inquired a few years ago. David Henry Gunther is buried in Roselawn Cemetery. I have a copy of the page from the Roselawn Cemetery Interments listing his name, place of birth as Giradville, PA and that he died of Typhoid Pneumonia. I also have a copy of his obituary. The obituary does not list his parents names. David Gunther was only 34 years old when he died. I am hoping you can provide me with the documentation of David Henry Gunther's father. It is possible I have the wrong father listed in my genealogy tree. I have trying to find David H. Gunther's father's name for years! Thank you for your help.
