|I was raised in Junaita County, Pa., and I enjoy adding entries when I find obituaries of individuals who were born or lived in the county. I often find relatives, friends or family of friends among those I enter. If I created an entry of a relative or friend let me know and I will transfer it to you.|
When contacting me about a SPECIFIC MEMORIAL I created please use the EDIT button on the memorial. When you do this, it emails me a direct link to the memorial, and it makes it so EASY to make corrections or add additional information. When posted to my profile page, I have a hard time figuring out which memorial you are writing about.
I hereby appoint the Juniata Mennonite Historical Society as steward over my memorials upon my death. Its Contributor FAG# is 47941642. Leo Shelley March 12, 2013

|Sandy Vandertol||RE: posting copyrighted photos|
I do give my clients a copyright release to post my photos on engagement notices, 50th wedding anniversary, marriages and death notices. That doesn't mean that others can come along and copy my photos for their own use when a one time use was only granted to my clients.
|Sandy Vandertol||posting copyrighted photos|
You posted a personal photo to the page of Hermia Kilmer. # 132344706
Can you produce the original digital file of this photo showing you took it and own the copyright to it? If not, then you will have to remove it off my page. I have been a professional photographer for 37 years and have done thousands of these photos in my studio. It really bothers me to see others posting photos they did not create and which bear their name, and it violates the rules of copyright.
Here are the rules from Find a Grave on photos:
ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!! Can I add a photo that I found on Find a Grave or on a different website?
No. Do not add photos to Find A Grave that you have acquired from another memorial or from another source. Similarly, do not add screen shots from other websites or scans of obituaries or newspaper articles (11/29/12). Photos fall under copyright protection laws, even photographs used in obituaries. In general, if you did not take the photo yourself, do not post it.

Leo - How do you add the name of another sibling to someone in the "Find A Grave" database?
Ida is related to me on the Ramsey side. Do you mind if I use the pic of her grave for the book I am putting together on our family??
Thanks in advance

I don't see where Besse McNitt (43716085) and Janet (58443289) are at all the same person. Perhaps you can check again and let me know. I even tried lookups and found no duplicate for either one.
|Nancy Gibson Lowe||RE: Helen Zimmerman|
That's a problem, Leo, because I'll need Helen's maiden name to find her in my database. Once I find that out I'll have where she's buried.
|Nancy Gibson Lowe||Helen Zimmerman|
Helen's obituary was wrong in that she married her husband in 1954 & not 1945. (See Marlin's obituary.)
