Bio and Links
Bio Photo My main areas of interest are the Irish of Mount Carmel, Northumberland County and the cemeteries of the Numidia area of Columbia County, Pennsylvania.

I can do lookups for a good deal of the cemeteries of those areas. In addition, I do findagrave volunteer picture requests for Lebanon and western Berks County cemeteries.

I try my best to verify information through several sources before I make a memorial. However, no one's perfect. If you find a mistake or would like something added to one of my memorials, please let me know and I'll be happy to correct/update.

RE: Edward Boylan edit request
I agree with not connecting him. Sorry about that. I have a neighbor that knows a lot about a lot of people around here and sometimes she confuses the crap out of me. It looks to me like someone else may be the father instead of him being born before they were married.

Gottlieb Dais
Another finding. Charles Daise wife, Anna K Eifert is at Memorial # 146258954 and a correction, she was only married the second time to Mr. Knorr.

Gottlieb Dais
I also found Gottlieb age 44 and Matillda age 38 in the 1880 census, occupation: cooper, listed as Danis Goldlipe with William age 15 and Charles age 11. Amazingly, their address is the same as a death certificate for Gottlieb, age 44 shown on a Return of Death in the City of Philadelphia, 2438 Leithgow St. He is also listed in the Philadelphia City Directories dated 1871 thru 1886 at same address, occupation: cooper. I would imagine the 1886 was in the process of being printed, and released after his death.

Gottlieb dais
I believe you need to add son Charles Daise to Gottlieb's children on his grave page instead of two Christians. Charles was born Sep 1869 in Philadelphia and died 4/7/1934 at the Philadelphia Hospital for Mental Diseases according to his death certificate. Charles was married three time but the one for my family concerned is Anna K Eifert, 1875 to 1965, Montour Co PA Did not find her grave. She had two sons, William Henry and George Joseph Daise.

RE: Matilda Elmira Carl Daise Cleaver
You can find Caleb, originally Gottlieb Daise (spelled: Gottlieb Dies in the census) in the 1870 census living in Philadelphia Ward 17, Dist. 5G, Philadelphia, age 32, born about 1832 living with wife Matilda and two children William age 5 and Charles age 1. The census is incomplete - dated November 17th, 1870, living on Howard Street The family is also listed in the Philadelphia Death Certificates. (7 of their 11 children died in infancy and childhood)

RE: Matilda Elmira Carl Daise Cleaver
Yes, I have found them in the census but my question is where did you obtain the marriage record that you have posted?

Matilda Elmira Carl Daise Cleaver
Memorial # 84466771 I am curious as to where you obtained the marriage date of Caleb (Gottleib Dies) Daise and the listed information. I am trying to find them in the 1880 census. Did find the 1870 census. I am researching this Daise family and am at a road block..any information would be appreciated. Could you please share the documentation??

Correct headstone?
The name at the top of the headstone photo for George Washington Lehman 1826-1903 doesn't look like it says 'George' I am seeking the correct info for his Civil War regiment and cannot find him on any roster list. Could this be another Lehman instead? Thanks!

I haven't been able to figure out what cemetery she is buried in; but I do know her death certificate says Mountain Cemetery. Whoever did the death records for this area at that time period did not know how to spell cemetery.
