Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired military. Genealogy is a passion but I slow down when football season arrives. Willing to help others as much as possible. I focus on my Stewart roots (West Virginia and Pennsylvania) and the Marshall family on my mother's side (Virginia).

I have photo documented local cemeteries in my area of James City County, Charles City County, Williamsburg and York County, VA. I am currently working on cemeteries in Surry, Sussex, Isle of Wight and Southampton Counties, VA.

I have also photo documented several cemeteries in the Hilton Head Island, SC, Kitty Hawk (Dare County), NC and Leavenworth, KS areas while on vacation.

If I have added a memorial for one of your family members just let me know your Find A Grave member number and I will transfer it to you.

Malinda Marshall Bowling
Ron, your photo volunteer couldn't find Malinda's headstone in Cow Creek Presb. Cem. because she isn't buried there, though she is listed there on Find A Grave. She is actually buried in the Esau-Gabbard Cemetery Mem. #125848252, headstone lists her as "Linda"

Would it be ok if I use the gravestone Pictures of Moses and his family members for my family tree? They are the family of my cousin's wife.

John Esselink
I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. D, 112th NY Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of John Esselink's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

Thank You
When I saw that a "Thank you for your service" was left it made me happy to know that people still care. My husband is William David Rhoden, and is laid to rest at Albert G. Horton. I'm 3000 miles away and it breaks my heart that I can't visit him. Before we moved back to the West Coast I visited daily.

Thank you Mr. Stewart for all you do and YOUR service to our Country

Have a Blessed Holiday Season

RE: Thank you
No problem at all. He is my grandfather. When I get a photo of him, I will also upload that.
I didn't know about this website or else I would have done this earlier.
Thank you!

RE: Frank Brennan
thanks Ron. Next time I am in Carroll I'll run to Coulson and see if I can find him. It would make more sense for him to be with his wife. He was catholic not Church of the Brethren.
