Jesse: My first message I referred to Celina Coffee Tinsley as his "wife". Celina was William Brown Tinsley's mother. My goof!

William Brown Tinsley
Hi, Jesse! I'm Edward Tinsley and William Brown Tinsley is my great, great, grandfather. I got to visit his grave in Big Island Cemetery this summer.

I was hoping I could get you to add a couple of details to his page. Under parents, his father was Elisha W. Tinsley. Elisha was born in 181? and died in 1847 and is supposed to be buried somewhere in Bedford County, but I was unable to find his grave this summer.

His wife, Celina Coffee Tinsley is buried in New Ashley Cemetery in Pike County, MO. not far from where I grew up.

Under William Brown Tinsley's children, could you add my great grandfather, William Holcomb Tinsley to the list? He was born April 10, 1864 in Big Island and died on March 3, 1944 in Pike County, Mo. I know that William Brown Tinsley and Celina also had other children (9 total),including Lucy B. Tinsley, Eugene S. Tinsley, Celina Tinsley and Thomas R. Tinsley. I don't have information on their dates of birth or death.

Many thanks if you can add the information I have provided.

Thanks again Jesse for your help. I was able to connect to a cousin from your work. Say, could I post your photos on my tree in Family Search? I use them when I don't have a photo of the person. I will put your name in, if I can find out how. Many, many thanks.

Hi Jesse, I was recently notified that I have a duplicate of your memorial for this gentleman. If you would like to go over and browse the memorial that I put up and incorporate the information into your memorial, I will then remove mine.

Best regards,

Finding Littletons grave
My sister and I have been trying to find the location of this grave but have had little success. I have been told it is on private property and we will have to permission to get on the property. We would love to just be able to look at the headstone and document exactly where it is. If you have a better map or information you could give us we would appreciate it very much.

Thank you

Dixon Cemetery
Hi Jesse,

Thank you for what you do. I am a 5th generation descendant of Thomas Dixon. I am interested to know if you can tell me anything about the Dixon Cemetery. What is it in such poor condition? Who is responsible for its care? Is it city owned or privately owned? Anything you can share would be of much importance and I would greatly appreciate it.
