I am grateful to my mother, niece Diane and cousins Margaret and Pauline for sharing with me the research they had started on our family tree. Once I began researching and adding to what they had started I began having so much fun learning about all our relatives that I find no stopping point. To me this is more fun and enjoyable than reading a book, TV, and other activities that once took up so much of my time. My current tree has grown to over 3,000 relatives and I haven't even started on the Tillmans my married name. My recent find was an extended family member that started a Mico post office in his home about 1880 and his two sons delivered the mail twice a week by horseback to the star route in Mississippi. Later one of the sons became the postmaster and moved the post office to his new home several miles away. This was interesting since my deceased husband was a rural mail carrier in Stone Mountain, Lilburn and Bethlehem, Georgia. I was a sub mail carrier in Stone Mountain about 1963-1965.|
If I have taken a photo and posted it on Find A Grave of a relative or friend of yours, feel free to make copies. I feel it would be selfish of me to post photos of your relatives and then not allow you to have copies of your own relative for your family tree. I was reminded of this when reading Philippians 2:3-5 "If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself. Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also to the interest of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus." I get so excited when I find a missing relative and lots of them were found as a result of the generous hours donated by FAG volunteers. I am so grateful. So enjoy and happy researching.

|Wilma Drew||Ted Sheridan|
Thank you for the transfer and all of your work done before me.
|Wilma Drew||RE: Ted Lee Sheridan|
Yes, Dan Gene Sheridan is Ted's brother. I would greatly appreciate a transfer of Ted's memorial if you would do so. We are very close friends of he and his family having known them for many, many years. Thank you for your work with Findagrave - I love this site and work hard to contribute as often as I can. Wilma (Find A Grave #47073779).
|Kenneth||RE: Robert R. Mincey|
I can't recall when I sent that edit but I looked into Dorothy Mincey's information and found that she was Dorothy H. Dillard, daughter of George W. and Dosha (Doshie, Docia, as well.) Staten Dillard and was born in Dalton, Whitfield County, Ga. on 12 May 1917. She passed on 14 Jul 2004 in Stone Mountain, GA. She has a findagrave memorial. See 77342596. She and Robert must have married after 1940.

Thanks for letting me know, BUT they were not both mine. The new one was the duplicate.
|DON SHARP||RE: Mount Family markers|
I appreciate the transfer offer; but there is no need to transfer these memorials. I have posted all the photos.

|Tim J Winking||Pauline Teal|
Thank you! Looks good.
|Tim J Winking||RE: Pauline Pickens|
I do not have any hard source documents.
Ancestry Userid Rick942 originally made the assertion that Pauline's maiden name was Teal. He did it based upon his mother's close relationship with Pauline, Pauline's parents and the fact that Pauline's husband was his mother's uncle.
Even if you decide that more evidence is needed to make the change, maybe you can update her info to indicate we believe she is the daughter of Ervin and Frances Teal.
Here is the Ancestry message from Rick942:
"Hello Tim, My mother (89 years old) is amazing with information. She tells me that Ervin and Frances Teal was her neighbor, and that the two girls, Pauline and Rosa were their daughter. Carl is mother's Uncle so she knew Pauline all of her life. Mother has given me a lot of information from family around Redan Georgia, and have never found her to be wrong. Don't know if the father spelled his name with an I or and E.
Hope this is a help. If you have other questions, let me know.
Thanks for your consideration.

My goal is one, complete and accurate memorial with a photo for each person. Not always successful but I keep trying! Theron...
